I’ve purchased these as party favors and kids love them. There are a lot in one package for a great price. I had a few left over and take them in my diaper bag to let the kids use at restaurants and in the car. It’s great because you don’t need a whole set of pencils. Each book comes with its own little wooden dowel pencil. The set does come with stencils but not one for each book.

My 7-8 year old students had never seen these before. We had fun practicing our spelling words on these pads! The wooden pencils weren’t safe for the classroom, but I just had them use pencils. They were easy to use and big enough to write one the colors were bright and fun for the kids. Could be used as gifts or prizes; or just to switch things up!

My company had a stocking exchange for Christmas. Everyone who wanted to could send enough $1-2 gifts to our main office for the stockings of those participating. Many people included lottery tickets, candy, etc. I wanted something different & fun, so when I found these scratch pads, I thought they'd be perfect. I remember enjoying pads like this when I was a child. Each pad has its own wooden stylus. I ordered two packs & had a few leftover to give my cousin's children, who started using them right away. I'd say they they were a hit all around!
