Ok so first my review of my transaction with Amazon? It was very delayed. I have no idea why or how but they eventually said I should cancel and get a refund. I didn’t want to do that because I had payed with Affirm payments and I didn’t know how that was going to work, since now my order wasn’t enough for my payment plan. So in the end, I just agreed to the refund with a gift card, so essentially I made a payment plan for a gift card and the other item I bought at the time, which ended up working out really well for other stuff I wanted. Then the game still came!! So I got a gift card to get other things and the game which I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. Now onto the game. I guess you want a review of the game. Well I’ve heard of there being graphics glitches? I did see some grid squares on a few scenes where the camera view is messed up, but it wasn’t enough to bother me. Or the gameplay. But it was there. The dialogue is lengthy, I barely read any of it, and I think I got the gist of it. Anyway, again it didn’t affect the gameplay. However, there were no in game lineage that went from one task to another.. not that any other Pokemon game has, but at least in previous games you knew what to go find to do. This game, I actually stumbled into more of the post game stuff than actually saying ok I need to do this this and then that. I don’t want to spoil anything but one cut scene is never mentioned but I just walked into it. Wish I had known I would have taken care of it. All in all, I love the Pokemon games and would do anything to add it to my Switch library. I don’t care what the story is like I want it. I still want Legends of Arceus. ... show more

Pokémon Violet is honestly alot of fun especially going out catching all sorts of Pokémon and the dlcs add to the experience definitely a must buy!

The game arrived sealed, which was great after reading the other reviews. However, upon opening, I discovered it was Version 001, not the desired revision 004. Unfortunately, Version 001 requires a download for the DLC. Other than that. The game is good.
