This was on my sons wish list for Christmas and have to say it did not disappoint. When he opened it and showed it to me I was really surprised by the construction of it. The way that the lid opens is pretty neat and inside there is a little box for the dice that folds down to open with the push of a wooden button. The deck box is poorly made, and I do NOT recommend this deck box unless you plan on keeping it sealed, or you want to manually make improvements. Here are some cons: * The deck box all around is barely sanded on any of the sides, and has a rough texture. * the varnish is inconsistent across the entire deck box so while some areas are covered, other areas are not * swivel for the main lid is loose, and the wood they used to cover it is like that plastered woodchip mix vs a solid wooden piece * inside of the deck box because its not sanded down well OR varnished well has noticeable splintering areas as well as burrs that you can actually get splinters from. This means any card even with sleeves are bound to get damaged (which i guess is why its wide and long enough to use double sleeves... but at this point with this deck box I recommend you NEVER single sleeve a deck with this box) * dice tray/holding area is big enough to hold a small amount of 6 sided dices, but anything bigger like a d20 would barely fit unless its small. Recommend you carry damage counters with this since you really cant fit too much even though the deck box is pretty big for its size. Pros: * the etching of the logo is clean * it is wooden, so in that sense it is unique Recommendation: * honestly for 40 dollars this deck box is NOT worth your money unless you are collecting sealed celebration product, or you just REALLY wanted this deck box. Personally I would rather spend that much on either making my own wooden deck box or buying one from etsy for the same price. ... show more

Bought this box and it is surprisingly poor quality. The inside is rough and not sanded down. The different wood pieces used are joined poorly with very visible seams and ugly matching of the different pieces. The fold down dice holder has an odd cut out at the top inside and has the same very rough wood problem on the inside. ... show more
