These percale sheets are everything I was looking for in a sheet set. I love percale lower thread count because they're the same crisp texture you remember from your grandma's closet. I hate sateen sheets because the texture is gross and they retain heat. These are just like HOTEL sheets! Which I also own. These are cool in the summer and warm in the winter and washing them has no effect on them whatsoever except that they get clean. They come out of the washer as smooth and perfect as when I took them out of the package, they do not pill, fuzz, or stretch out. These sheets turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. It’s gotten really difficult to find good cotton percale sheets. I noticed that a lot of people who have purchased this complain about the way they feel. They feel the way I expect a crisp cotton percale to feel. Quality of these sheets is very high. They have the stiffness I would expect from this type of weave. These are NOT sateen sheets. They are not microfiber. These are the kind of crisp sheets. I grew up with, and I am thrilled to be able to find them again. The prints are definitely interesting and very vivid. Everything else in my bedroom is a solid so why not have some fun sheets? These sheets are good for the low price they were. They look nice but they had a very stiff and scratchy feeling when new and even after the first couple washings but they have softened up over time and feel ok when sleeping in them. The printing is only on one side and the other side is very drab and gray looking. You can see the print lightly through the back side but it's mostly blocked out. If you like crisp-feeling sheets, you will love these. If you're looking for that soft, flannel-like feel, these are not for you. These sheets have the look and feel of quality, the paisley design is classy and beautiful, and after numerous washings they still look as new and feel as crisp as day one. As shown in the photo, they fit nicely over a 10" mattress. But it would be a struggle, I think, to get them over a 14" mattress or more. They are perfect for us. We love them! ... show more

I didn’t get the sheets out of the package, but the fabric didn’t feel smooth/soft, so I think that would have bothered me. That wasn’t the original reason I was returning the product - the pic for the Cedar color looked to me like it had a small light blue/aqua element to the pattern, but it’s actually an olive green color. In fairness, the product description is accurate if you read it, I just don’t think it quite matches the photos. I do think it’s a really attractive paisley if you’re willing to take a chance on the sheets softening up after washing a couple of times. ... show more
