  • Good pictures.
Excellent pictures. Many plants I have were included in the book. Contains enough info for me to get started. If I need more info I can always google. Love the size of the book, I have coffee table books so this met another need.

  • Brilliant Gem
Good review of ideas of how to display indoor plants throughout the house, room by room. Excellent variety of houseplants reviewed with full details on cultivating each.

  • Very Informative
This is a great little book and really breaks down what each type of plant needs as far as soil, watering and how and when to feed. I really wish the author had identified which type of plants are toxic to pets. I can look this up on my own, but with so many pet owners, it's good info to have. Great book, though and am learning a lot as a new houseplant enthusiast. ... show more

  • Not the comprehensive plant book I needed. Not what I thought it would be.
Not that comprehensive of a book and not for beginners. I am by no means a plant snob, but even my basic plants, piggy back, string of pearls, parlor palm or sansevieria plants are not listed, but if you want too know how to grow a Chinese yellow banana plant your in luck. While there is basic information and nice photos this book, I am disappointed. I bought this book because of the glowing reviews. It will be returned. ... show more
