Description

The Kortal Race MIPS sets a new standard for MTB protection. It’s equipped with a RECCO reflector and an NFC medical ID chip so first responders can find and treat you quickly. It features a lightweight EPS liner and MIPS Integra, an almost invisible rotational impact protection system. Extended protection zones cover high-risk areas and POC’s patented breakaway visor enhances neck protection. The Kortal Race MIPS is compatible with goggles and designed to ensure uninterrupted ventilation, keeping you cool on every ride. It features an adjustable 360-degree fit system for a secure, comfortable fit and it’s e-bike certified.

Supremely comfortable, extremely light weight, I hardly notice it any more than I would a baseball cap. Top of the line but pricey. Don't skimp on things they go between you and the ground. Buy POC. **Updated review** Was able to return the helmet for a replacement and everything is good so far. Helmet fits amazing. Planet Cyclery was quick to get a replacement out and I'm very happy that it wasn't a big hassle. Changed my Overall rating from 1 star to 5 stars. Bought this $250.00 helmet for my husband, he tried it on and LOVED it. Said it fit great. Then he wanted to adjust it a little more and the retention system broke. Broke the first time trying it on! This is a $250.00 helmet...should not happen. We've mtn biking for over 30 years and have never had a helmet break while trying it on. I've requested a return replacement and fingers crossed the next one being sent will be better. ... show more

Although I love the color the fit was off. The sizing was correct, but it pinched terribly at the temples. I tried loosening the tension but then it defeated the purpose.
