I’ve been using this kit mainly as a basic set of tools, and overall it delivers good value for what you pay. The knife is the standout piece for me. It comes with a cover that includes a built-in sharpener, which is very convenient when you’re out fishing. The blade is also extremely sharp and has a bit of flex to it, so it’s not completely rigid, which actually makes it easier to work with when cleaning fish. The other tools in the kit feel a bit less sturdy, however, they do the job without the solid and premium feel as higher-end gear. That said, for a starter kit or occasional use, everything is “good enough” and functional. It’s especially useful if you want a compact set without spending a lot.

I recently purchased this Plusinno tool kit. Not just another standard fishing tool kit with a garden variety of tools, but higher quality that shows thought went into the entire design and manufacturing process. A very complete set for fishing. I find that each piece is robust, and seems to be over engineered to aid in longevity. There are a couple features that really stand out to me. (1) A knife sharpener is built right into the knife sheath, so it's always available. (2) The scissor has an extra 1/2 loop, which gives extra stability and comfort, and a serrated blade which aids in cutting braid fishing line. I found the fillet knife to be extra sharp (so be careful), with a high grade coating, which helps it glide through each cut. I wanted to include photos of the knife in action, but thought viewers might find it distasteful. I do a lot of fishing, easily 4-5 days a week. Quality is important, so is value. I seldom buy tools or tackle one at a time, it's more economical to get it all at once, I think there is value in this fishing tool kit!

Good sturdy quality for the money. Scissor are sharp and seem to hold up to different types of fishing line. The little case is nice it makes it easy to just hook to fishing back if your short on room in your bag like myself. Knife seems pretty sharp.

Awesome set for the boat or fishing bag. The scissors are extremely sharp and strong. I was striper fishing this weekend and was able to cut through 60lb braid with no issues. Set came with retractable key ring and I added a magnetic clip to it so I can release it easily. The fish holder is great. I attached mine to my scale with a ring clip. Definitely recommend this kit to any anglers.

My first impressions and what is important: Every item feels solid. No they arent made of the quality where youll be passing the items down the family tree and will last for generations. Things like that come at a much higher price point. But with that said they dont feel cheaply made either. If your like me, youll most likely loose them beford they would break or wear out. The quality definitely is above the price paid But what impressed me the most is that the engineers and the product developement department definitely put some thought into each tool. For example, the filet knife sheath has a sharpener built in to it. On the handle of the pliers is a sharpening stone you can use to keep your hooks sharp. They really paid attention to detail. You wont be disappointed, if you purchase this set of items.
