This dress is SOOOOO cute. I was afraid it was going to be clingy and show all the wrong lumps and bumps but it doesn’t. I did size up according to the size chart and it’s a perfect fit. I’m 5’5” and usually maxi dresses are way too long but this one falls perfectly to my toes to where I can wear a cute pair of sandals or a heel with it. The one strange thing I noticed that one side of the tie back piece is sewn to the dress and it’s much shorter than the other end. I thought maybe it was intentionally this way and meant to be tied to the side but when I tried that, the longer end wasn’t long enough lol. Also, the loops that the tie back piece goes through are too long and stick out a bit so I honestly thought to cut them off because I think it would be better without the tie! 5'6" 230 lbs Purchase size: 3X I have the dress in dark green and peach. For what you are paying, this is a very nice dress. I normally wear a 2X, but I purchased a 3X and it fit perfectly. Cons: The dark green wasn't really an army green, but more aqua green. The belt is not detachable. (I think that is done so it doesn't get lost in shipping and/or so that people don't claim they the belt was missing in the package.) Great buy. I am getting more colors. ... show more

The design is good, fabric is nice, but the torso is very short with the pockets being right under the bustline. I typically wear between a 12 and 14, 5'5 and 240 lbs. I ordered a 16 so it would be roomy, but between the short top length and the tightness of the bust, it's not going to work for me. I might buy it again a few sizes bigger and alter it to fit me properly in both bustline and torso length. ... show more

This was perfect for the occasion (mother son sneaker ball). I probably should have ordered a size down to get that snug fit on my lower half so I didn't have to force the slit but it was super comfy to dance and move around in!
