I’m not good with heels whatsoever, my longest pair was 4” and they were terribly hard to walk in. However, these bad boys are amazing. I’m not a dancer, nor do I wear heels during occasions other than parties. I ordered these heels for prom, been wearing them everyday for 2 weeks to get used to it and they fit perfectly. It feels like walking on a cloud. I’m a size 9 1/2 in shoes and I ordered a 9 in there and they fit fine. So if you’re a half size I would say to size down. Easy to walk in, the soles don’t hurt my feet, and they’re gorgeous. The back heel is 4” while the platform is 2” so they are 6” total though they don’t look it. On the photo that I uploaded u can tell my toes don't go all the way to the front YET but its ok because the shoes are NEW . As u wear these shoes (one day of wear ) the plastic stretches & molds the perfect shape for your unique feet & become comfortable. I normally wear a 6 1/2 to 7 and decided to go with the 7 because I have a pretty high arch in my foot and the sandal style foot straps are usually to tight for me. When I first got them they were a bit tight and felt a little wobbly when walking. I've been wearing them almost everyday for a week now and I've gotten used to the super high platform and the straps are surprisingly comfortable now and don't leave red marks or indentations on my feet when I take them off! The heel has a very nice 1/4" thick memory foam sole and I'm so glad I gave them a try. I really wanted the super tall 8" heel but the were out nearly a month on shipping so I went with these and I'm so happy I did! ... show more

I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 depending on the style of the shoe since I have wide feet. I purchased the 8 because others said this shoe ran somewhat small. Happy I got the 8. It fits great. I haven't worn the shoes yet, but I think they will be relatively comfortable.

    • If wearing for exotic dancing, do not size up!

I ordered a size up based on the reviews. Apparently those reviewers are not exotic dancers because this advice was wrong. Dancers want the heels tight, in order for them to properly stay on so your foot isn't sliding around. You have to work at stripper shoes, and want them to be tight at first. I have been dancing for almost 11 years, always wearing pleasers. I received my order and immediately was able to slip my foot into the shoe super easily...not good! I normally wear a size 6 in pleasers open toe and a 7 in boots... I had to return and reorder a 6 in these because I went by the reviews and assumed this particular style must run smaller....wrong. ... show more

No one believes me when I say stripper heels are ironically the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn. I guess you’d assume the opposite especially when looking at how sky high they are. My black one of these finally gave out after 10 years. The sole came clean off the heel! I guess the glue got too old. Still, 10 years is longer than most keep shoes anyway. These are solid heels.
