So my intention when I first bought this was to give it 3-5 stars as I normally do for my Amazon reviews and Amazon can see that if they look back into my history of purchases. Now b/c I read all the previous reviews of just feeling pain while walking after a while, I tried to prepare by inserting memory foam shoe soles to prevent metatarsalgia. I normally wear a size 9 in women, but after reading the reviews I made sure to get a size 11. Should be enough space right, WRONG! Even with that I could not bear the pain that this boots caused me. In the first picture I only made it to the bathroom before entering into the Comic-Con ctr and could not even show off my boots b/c it hurt that bad and as a result as you can see it did peel off my skin which is disgusting and really hurts. I am returning and demanding of full refund! ... show more

i only have awful pictures of me in these, but i used them for my 2P (Nier Automata’s 2B recolor in Soul Calibur 6) cosplay and they were the perfect look! i was really worried about getting these since i’ve never worn shoes like these before, but they’re fun. i would say order anywhere from half to a full size up just so you have the room, and be careful! i was running a little wild in these and scuffed the outside quite a bit. (also i lost a bit of feeling in two of my toes and they still haven’t returned, so please learn from my mistakes) (edit: i forgot i added that bit, i got feeling back in my toes! took about 2 weeks) ... show more

Fits as expected planning on adding some metatarsal supports soon as they do tend to hurt after a couple minutes they are tight in the toe area and are fairly narrow but have a slight stretch in them so I will be breaking them in. Overall looking forward to wearing them on a night out with my hubby. (Im not the most graceful of creatures so dancing in these is a no from me dawg) expect to take a good 15 minutes getting into these atleast for the first couple of times. Before I say anything, these shoes were for a cosplay photo shoot, I had to stand for about six hours* before I even put them on*, so my feet were already hurting a bit. But then I had to stand in them for about two hours. I even put one of those Dr. Scholl's ball of foot thingies in there... I have no idea if it helped. Cons: My feet did that "numb-but-thousands-of-needles" thing within ten minutes. If you have chunky thighs or very large calves, forget it. I am pretty athletic/average size and these suckers were TIGHT the whole way up my leg. Pros: If you can stand the pain, these shoes are super sexy. I usually wear an 8.5 since wide shoes are hard to find, but my feet are really happiest in an 8W. Since there were no wides, I ordered these a half size up (9) hoping they would fit. I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs. and I wear a size 2-4 in pants, but I had a hard time zipping these over my calves and up my thighs. I managed to squeeze in, but nothing was remotely comfortable and my leg looked like a latex sausage. They didn't feel super tight on my feet but my calves and thighs were being strangled. Side Note: Pleaser is a popular brand in alternative communities, so I was surprised that they don't offer a better range of widths, although they do offer many larger sizes. I purchased these for Halloween to go with my nun outfit and fell in love. I was bit skeptical because my thighs are pretty thick. I weigh 170 lbs. Funny story, when I first got them I was beyond nervous because the zipper was NOT EVEN close enough for it to close. Thank god for my boyfriend stretching the life out of these and helping me zip them up to the top without destroying them. Came to find out these actually fit and form into your legs/calves the more you wear them. Worn them about three times since the event and the heel part is still looking good. WORTH IT ... show more
