Easy to install if you take your time. All the cut outs were there perfect fit for my Steam Deck Oled 512 GB. Beautiful skin. I’m going to use the scrap pieces with a scrapbook punch to create Sakura flowers to put on my case if you’re having trouble seeing the lines, hold it up to a light as you separate it from the backing paper and you will see exactly where you need to go slow for the narrow parts and if you have missed any cut outs. In the photos, I have not used the hairdryer yet on it.

I LOVE this skin. Normally, I hate applying skins but there were 2 skins included and the application took some time but it went VERY WELL. When I got to the back of my steam deck, the front skin application had already taught me to take the pieces out that didn’t belong because the right speaker cut outs, one of them almost got stuck inside my steam deck….so the cut outs that don’t belong… take them out before you apply and then you don’t have to worry. I applied a clear case on top for extra protection and the blow dryer made a world of difference with it appearing more “smooth” and flat so…definitely use it if you have one but I am in LOVE. I finally feel like my steam deck is “decked out” I just need to find different color thumb grips.

I decided to try one of these skins because they're cheap and wanted to see if I could install one before spending the big bucks. I would recommend watching a video on how to install it, because it doesn't come with very good directions. It did come with two sets, which is nice if you mess up. I followed the video and didn't have any issue. It does take some time and patience, and you may need a toothpick to help remove some of the small parts of the sticker - like the speaker holes. Some parts stuck to the paper too much and were difficult to separate. The yellow part of the design were the hardest to see and separate. I think the design I picked looks pretty good, finer detailed designs might not. So far I haven't had any issues with it peeling, but time will tell. Edit - I didn't have any issue with the skin peeling or anything with a lot of daily use. I peeled it off on purpose and it didn't leave any residue at all. I'd buy this brand again.

NOT a good buy for multiple reasons... Issue 1: These people can't seem to keep their inventory straight. Order one type and you'll receive another. (LCD instead of OLED) Issue 2: The stencils are soooooo tightly grouped together, that attempting to remove the large pieces without any stretching or tearing, is a lesson in the art of Zen... This requires the patience of a Saint. Issue 3: After you meticulously remove the large stickers & begin to attach them, they can't be removed without being damaged. Amazon asks you to return literal trash... Buy a silicon cover or shell case & leave this BS alone.

My steam deck looks great with the new skin on. It came with a spare skin in case you messed up which is awesome in itself! (As most products normally only give you one). Install wasn’t bad, a little tedious to get the corners aligned. I flattened out the skin from one end to another to prevent any bubbling. After that I used my wife’s hair dryer to heat up the skin while pressing on the skin with a card, which helped with the adhesion. It’s been on for a few months now with consistent gaming with no issues! I also bought the grip textures and it looks amazing altogether!

The skin itself was not cut out very well and it was difficult to separate the pieces of each thumb grip and all the little parts and some of it I could not even get off. The speakers had no cut outs like it shows on the picture. Very Disappointing. I will be returning this.

Cutouts on this were sized and spaced exactly right for the various vents, holes, and buttons. I will say due to the many thin, long lines on parts of this, it was actually pretty difficult to align perfectly without any bubbles or bumps. That is no fault of the skin itself though, and more my inexperience along with the very thin strips. I've seen complaints about this skin not sticking well, but the instructions (very thorough) do address this. Once the skin is in place, you're supposed to use a heat gun to warm it up and set the adhesive. A hair dryer on medium heat can sub for this quite well. If you skip this heating step, there's a good chance the skin will fall off at some point. Also, I don't know if I got a fluke or if it's standard, but my package had two copies of the skin included. I figure that's helpful if you completely bork the first try and ruin it, you're still able to try again without having to order a new skin and waste the money. Found that bit thoughtful, and hoping it was intentional. Otherwise, you have a spare for when the first one wears down.
