Regardless of the game, it would freeze up. I cleaned the laser, disks and even turned the console on its side, all to no avail. Refurbished no, packaged well, good. But I can’t play a well packaged system in a box. I wish Amazon would make these sellers honest by not selling their products that don’t function properly Guaranteeing their products is great but when it doesn’t work on day one, it’s still a pain to return. Bottom line, stay away from this seller! ... show more

BUYER BEWARE NOT WORTH $300 AT ALL!! The system itself looked nice, slight signs of wear but nothing major. Unfortunately it would freeze on a black screen trying to load up any game...ps2 or ps1, didn't matter. Also, right before I gave up trying to get this system to work, it froze on the menu screen! Im still awaiting a refund, ebay sellers have a better product at half the price...the fact that this seller/product is sponsored by Amazon has me questioning buying anything else. ... show more

Have to honestly say that I didn't realize the picture quality on a PlayStation 2 was so bad compared to a Playstation 4 if you have a PlayStation 4. The comparison is beyond totally different from one another
