Solid Upgrade for Meta Quest Users This head strap with a built-in 8000mAh battery is a really solid upgrade for anyone looking to extend their VR sessions and improve comfort. I've been using it with my Quest 3. The included screws and screwdriver for installation are a nice bonus, making setup quick and easy. The 8000mAh battery is a game-changer. Getting an extra 4-6 hours of playtime means I'm not constantly worried about low-power interruptions, which is fantastic for longer gaming sessions or when I'm working in VR. The strategic placement of the battery pack genuinely helps balance the headset's weight, significantly reducing the facial pressure that can become uncomfortable after a while. Comfort is where this strap really shines. The elite strap design with its rotary knob and gear-based adjustment makes it incredibly easy to get a snug, custom fit. It's much more comfortable than the stock strap, and the upgraded polymer side straps feel durable and robust. I appreciate that they're designed not to deform easily. The soft, skin-friendly fabric and slow-rebound foam on the top support are excellent, and the Y-shaped design with the large curvature at the back of the head does a great job of distributing weight evenly and keeping the headset secure, even during active games. The 45° flip-up convenience is a feature I didn't realize I needed until I had it. Being able to quickly lift the headset to check my phone or talk to someone without completely taking it off is incredibly handy and breaks the immersion far less. While it's not a "high end" product in the sense of being a revolutionary leap, it's a highly effective and well-designed accessory that addresses many of the common complaints about the stock Quest straps. It significantly enhances the VR experience through extended playtime and superior comfort.

We are very pleased with the comfort and battery life of this upgraded Meta head strap - it is a great addition for anyone looking to upgrade or wanting longer play time on the Meta before recharging. INSTALLATION: The installation was very easy. We have a Meta Quest 3, and the two white arms that are preinstalled on the head strap fit the Quest 3 without any tools required. Just pop off the arms from the Meta and pop on the arms for the new head strap. There is an extra step to install it if you have the Quest 2, but it comes with all the necessary tools/accessories to make the change, which doesn't look difficult at all. The instruction guide is very detailed with pictures showing the extra steps for the Quest 2. DESIGN: The design and colors are a nice match for the Meta Quest. The white is identical (or at least so close that we couldn't tell a difference from the original Meta head strap and this one). As you can see from the pictures, it looks like it could have been an original piece of the Meta Quest. COMFORT: Out of four family members who have used the new head strap, only one of us felt the original strap was more comfortable, and that was my young son. He said the piece that fits around the back side of the head felt too big - but he is very young. It fit the rest of us (teenager and two adults) very well and felt more comfortable than the original head strap. BATTERY LIFE: We haven't timed exactly how long the head strap battery lasts, but we charge both the Meta Quest battery and the battery in the head strap. When the Meta battery gets low, we then plug in the cable for the head strap battery, and it feels like we get about double the play time as before. For a family that shares the Meta we get a lot more use before needing to recharge. The head strap has four blue LEDs showing the battery level in the head strap, so it is easy to tell when it is fully charged and how much battery is remaining. Overall pleased with this product.

So far I am very pleased with this strap and battery. The strap that comes with the Meta Quest 3 is not ideal, although it’s an improvement to the strap on the Quest 2, it still feels uncomfortable and weight is not distributed properly. As someone who holds a lot of tension in my neck and gets headaches, I needed something that would alleviate any undue stress on my head and neck. The way this is designed, it puts some weight in the back of your head as well using the 8000mAH battery to balance it. The straps touching your head are padded as well, which was much more needed than I had thought when comparing the two. I had actually already bought the most popular battery and strap recommended for my Quest 3 before this and although I like that one, I’m going to switch to this one as it’s a tad more comfortable. I’ll admit, I haven’t gotten the full use of the long battery life of the battery as I can only stay in VR for about an hour or two at a time. That isn’t speaking to the comfortability of the headset, but moreso that I play dancing games and find myself feeling a little disoriented after about two hours. If I’m lazy and forget to charge my Quest, if I let the battery charge it while I’m playing, it uses up no more than 10-15% after playing for about 2 hours. I’m really impressed with that. I’m also impressed with how well the straps keep the headset stuck to my head. I wear glasses and to the dismay of many Quest owners, I still have not gotten the lens inserts. So, keeping the headset stable is very key to not scratching up my Quest lenses. This does a really nice job of that, especially because I’m moving around quickly when playing. Considering what else is on the market, this is a good price for a good strap and battery.

thought the battery would last a bit longer but it is a vast improvement over just the standard battery. id say for the price you really cant go wrong simply because the headset itself is def much more comfortable than the original.
