I ordered this bulk pack of playing cards primarily for classroom use, and it has been an excellent value. I use playing cards regularly in math lessons and educational activities, so having 36 decks on hand has been incredibly convenient. These are not the most premium cards I've handled. They are a bit lighter and thinner than higher-end casino-style decks, which is noticeable when shuffling or comparing them side-by-side with more expensive cards. However, for everyday use, they perform perfectly well. The cards are easy to read, shuffle smoothly, and have held up surprisingly well considering how often they are used by students. Having both red and blue decks is helpful for organizing activities and group work. Since each deck is individually wrapped, it's also easy to store extras until needed. Where this product really shines is the value. The cost per deck is extremely reasonable, making it a great choice for teachers, community groups, game nights, senior centers, party planners, or anyone who goes through a lot of cards. Even if a deck gets misplaced or worn out, there are plenty more available. Overall, while these may not be luxury playing cards, they absolutely get the job done. The combination of quantity, functionality, and affordability makes this a purchase I would happily make again. Highly recommended for anyone needing a large supply of dependable playing cards.

My son loves playing cards but has a tendency to misplace or lose them, so buying individual decks kept getting expensive. This set was a great solution for that. You get a lot of decks for the price, and all of ours arrived in great shape. The cards are definitely more lightweight than a standard deck and feel a bit thinner/lighter than average playing cards, so don’t expect premium quality like Bicycle cards. That said, they still shuffle fine and work perfectly for everyday card games, especially if they’re being used by kids or tend to disappear around the house. And despite being lighter, they still feel very durable, and look like your standard cards. Most people wouldn’t be able to tell a difference! The images are done well and easy to read. Overall, a solid buy if you want a lot of decks without worrying every time one goes missing.

This review is for the BGUP brand ‘Playing Cards, 36 Decks of Cards Bulk Standard Size Poker Cards’. This is a lot of playing cards. They appear to be the normal, standard playing cards everyone is familiar with, with half the packs being red and the other half blue. They have a sort of semi-glossy finish like most playing cards, and are easy to shuffle and handle during gameplay. These are paper-based instead of plastic, so longevity and tearing may be an issue, but you get 36 more packs, so it’s not THAT big of an issue. The design on the back is quite nice looking and complex, and the number and symbol art on the front is the easy to read standard everyone expects from playing cards. Card stock seems to be of decent quality, and they look to be of the normal size as well. Overall, I’m happy with these. I don’t know what the average person is going to do with 36 decks of playing cards, but I’m going to set aside a couple decks and use the rest for helping develop the concepts behind the card game I’m working on; sticker printer paper works wonders. Five stars.

I've bought quite a few things from this company recently, including another set of playing cards that are very similar to these and also weirdly bungee cords. But more importantly I can tell you that they make a decent card. If you are used to normal quality cards, especially bicycle, these aren't quite as good. They aren't as smooth and floaty. If you have used Aviator cards recently, they're similar to those. Flat stock, no air cushion. But at under a dollar per pack, shipped, this is a great deal. It's a lifetime supply! When using the cards, you don't really think about that they aren't as high end as good bicycle cards. You forget quickly. The cards are sized correctly and they're easily identifiable and readable. I have been throwing one in my car and giving them away to people and everyone is excited to have them, but it's not hard for me to carry them with me. There's a reason people say things are as small as a deck of cards. Ultimate portability. As I said before, I've got another set of cards from this company and these even though they look and feel almost identical are slightly different. The design on the back is a little bit more detailed that you can see a faint picture of the card suits on the back of these. See image. So with this amount, at this price, this is a great value.

The plastic wrapping around these is indestructible. There is a gold string that you can pull to get it off. Use it! I opened one deck at random. The Ace of Hearts had a crease in it, visible from both sides, which effectively made it a 'marked' card. I didn't see any other defects, but I wasn't looking very hard. The cards feel thin, although 52 cards (plus two jokers) add up to a standard thickness. So it's just a feeling, which might be caused by the relatively sharp edges of the cards. The faces and backs of the cards are unremarkable, which is a good thing. They shuffle okay, although shuffling warps them a little, so you might want to alternate front and back shuffles to keep them straight. If you have kids who like to play card games, but who are prone to losing cards, a bulk pack like this is a good thing to have around. But to be honest, what I wanted them for was to shoot at. They make great range targets, and things like creases and sharp edges don't make any difference for that application.

This is a very practical set if you go through playing cards often or host game nights. With 36 sealed decks, it’s easy to always have fresh cards ready, whether for parties, poker nights, or casual family games. The cards shuffle smoothly and feel solid enough for regular use. They’re not flimsy, and each deck holds up well for repeated play without immediately wearing out. Compared to premium brands like Bicycle or Bee, they don’t have quite the same smooth finish or long-lasting casino feel, but that’s expected at this price point. Those brands definitely feel more refined for serious play. For the value, though, this pack is hard to beat.
