    • finally found something that'll work for my Honda trim panels
I have an older Honda hatchback and the trim is constantly falling down. I've tried replacing all the trim clips using a generic plastic assortment. They didn't hold well but there were a lot of pieces, so I've just been cycling through them for the past year or two. I got tired of that and ordered clips advertised to fit my Honda; they fell out immediately. So when I saw these, with the rubber gaskets, I was intrigued. My Honda is not listed among the compatible models, but I couldn't resist ordering--my hopes for them were low but I wanted to see them in person. I had to try all three sizes, but amazingly, the grey ones fit perfectly. They snapped right in and haven't let go yet. I also like the metal pry bar--I have some plastic pry bars but they flex so much I worry that they'll break. This one feels much more solid. Yes, there is a danger of scratching, I did remove some paint when I tried to pull one of the old, broken generic ones out of my hatch. I was expecting the metal to scratch and since the scratched area is under the trim that's finally staying on now, I don't care, but something for others to be aware of--it will scratch if you pry against paint. ... show more
