The media could not be loaded. I didn't buy this cue because I had a problem breaking. My problem was that the ferrules on cheap cues were constantly breaking. This appears to be a solid cue with a nice 14 mm tip that should stand up to heavy breaking. I have never jumped balls before. Within 2 hours using this cue, I was able to consistently jump full ball across the table. I don't think I will be jumping during a match, but I will practice until I become proficient at it.

I wanted a basic break/jump cue to use during my time in Korea playing in the pool leagues. I came across this cue and ive been extremely happy with the purchase ever since. I generate a lot of speed with my breaks and this cue has held up superbly. I would (and have) suggested to friends. Only downside is that i wish it had a phenolic tip. That will probably be my only reason for upgrading later!

I had been using an old 21oz shooting cue as my break cue, until I borrowed one of my teammate's break cue, and then I decided I needed one. But, I didn't need a $600 break cue like he had, so I bought this one (18 oz). I consistently sink 1-2 balls on the break (9-ball) (when my opponent doesn't loose-rack me). I don't shoot jump shots, so I can't speak to its ability there, but for breaking, this cue rocks. Two other players on my team also own variations of this cue (including our SL7 player). Would recommend.

I purchased this break cue as a good starter break cue for my partner. I've used Players and PureX cues exclusively so far and overall they're great cues at a good price. This cue is very effective, it provides a solid break and good spread. He's also started jumping, and this cue is effective at that as well. It's not fancy, but it's definitely good for someone starting out and looking for a good break cue at a decent value.
