I purchased this break cue as a good starter break cue for my partner. I've used Players and PureX cues exclusively so far and overall they're great cues at a good price. This cue is very effective, it provides a solid break and good spread. He's also started jumping, and this cue is effective at that as well. It's not fancy, but it's definitely good for someone starting out and looking for a good break cue at a decent value.

I’ve been playing for a few years and decided to get a break stick. For the price, you can’t beat this cue. I love it. It is 3 pieces which makes it a break/ jump cue. I don’t jump but it’s nice to know I have one. The tip is great.

The media could not be loaded. I didn't buy this cue because I had a problem breaking. My problem was that the ferrules on cheap cues were constantly breaking. This appears to be a solid cue with a nice 14 mm tip that should stand up to heavy breaking. I have never jumped balls before. Within 2 hours using this cue, I was able to consistently jump full ball across the table. I don't think I will be jumping during a match, but I will practice until I become proficient at it.

This cue did wonders for me over a random 19/20 oz house cue for consistency (obviously) and breakout. It really is a solid piece of equipment for the price that I'd recommend to anyone in the "serious casual" to entering "local bar league" player level. I do have one complaint: the weight bolt has a tendency to come loose. This may be a rare manufacturing outlier, I don't know, but as soon as I hear a *ping* instead of a *thonk* on the break, I know I have to break out my hex key and crank it down again. It'll be good for 20-30 breaks after that. Manufacturing? Quality? User error? I'm not good enough to know those answers yet.

Pleasantly surprised so far with the quality, feel and performance. Haven't been disappointed with Players cues yet. Hopefully it will hold up for years of fun and excitement like my other Players cue.
