My toddler enjoys using it. It makes noodle shapes and a few other fun shapes. Not all the shapes work very well. But it’s a huge pain to clean. There are a lot of nooks and crannies as you press. I end up using a toothpick multiple times when we play if we have multiple colors out.

I am using this for ceramic projects. It has worked great. You just need to make sure your clay is pretty soft. I've made abstract wine bottle (cork) stoppers. You can extrude about 6 inches of clay.

My grandson loves this extruder. One minor problem is that the tracks for the sliding parts easily get play dough stuck in them. So clean them out with a toothpick or something that won't damage the plastic. Other than that it's a great little set.
