I had punctured the bottom of my foot over the summer and to save you the gory details, I needed something with cushion that was water resistant while being wide enough to accommodate a bandage I had to wear to keep clean keep until stitches were removed. While these did serve my intended purpose Id rate them a maximum of “pretty good, but….” Compared to a separate pair I also purchased here on Amazon from a different company, they are not as comfortable. The material is pretty hard, no where near as “cushy” or shock absorbant. I also have more of a wide foot with a square toe box, so unfortunately I found they irritate my pinky-toe because of opening design by catching my nail here and there. Granted this might not be the case for everyone but worth mentioning to consider if you have a wide/square foot. I think these would be great for more of a slender/pointed toe based on their design. I do like the color though and think the sizing is pretty accurate over all.
