I bought this because I wanted a simple way to block off a yard area from deer, dogs, or other critters without installing a permanent fence. The thicker plastic mesh and reinforced edges made it seem more durable than the flimsy garden netting you usually see. The good part is that temporary mesh fencing is useful when you need fast protection around a garden or yard space. It’s flexible, easier to set up than real fencing, and can save plants from getting trashed. The downside is that it’s still temporary fencing, so it won’t feel as secure or long-lasting as a real barrier. Strong animals or rough weather can expose its limits pretty quickly.

We were getting tired of deer treating our landscaping like an all-you-can-eat buffet, so we put this fencing up around some vulnerable planting areas. So far, it appears to be doing the job. The reinforced edges are one of the best features. They make the fencing much easier to handle during installation and give it a sturdier feel than the lightweight mesh fencing I’ve used in the past. The included zip ties and U-shaped stakes also helped make setup straightforward. The material itself feels durable while remaining easy to work with. It has enough structure to stay in place when properly supported, but it’s still lightweight enough that installation doesn’t become a major project. The listing also mentions UV resistance. I’m cautiously optimistic on that front. Our summer sun can be pretty brutal, and that’s often what destroys plastic products first. Time will tell, but based on the thickness of the material and the reinforced construction, I’m hopeful we’ll get at least a few years of deer-free gardening out of it. Overall, this is a practical and effective solution for protecting gardens and landscaping from deer and other critters.

This fencing arrived extremely quickly, well packaged and in perfect condition. It is a heavy duty plastic with a fairly small aperture in the mesh. The mesh isn't razor thin so it will be useful for training some climbing plants we intend to plant next to it. There were 10 n-shaped (double sided) ground stakes included plus a package of zip ties. The mesh can be attached to poles via zip ties but the ones included are pretty thin and will probably need to be replaced within a year or 2. Fortunately thicker zip ties aren't very expensive so we used them and saved these thin ones for other uses. There are no poles included. This fencing seems pretty durable and weather resistant. It definitely won't be prone to rusting. It's strong enough to keep out most garden pests unless they're really ravenous but when that happens, nothing is going to work. I've seen squirrels eat through the metal lids of glass jars to get to seeds inside. For the current price of about $31 and especially the current coupon price of a little over $26, this fencing is a good value.

So when I use this for is gardening and this is exactly the right size that I needed for my raised gardens. Yes, here in Texas we have all kinds of strange critters. So although I'm not using it for deer it's kind of small for that it is keeping the chickens in and keeping the critters out of the garden I've had two uses for it so far. This material is more durable than I had anticipated but it's still easy to work with. I've been able to use this immediately, it is what I anticipated it would be and actually it's a little bit better. It's useful, there's just enough of it for the job that I needed it for and so I can't complain. It actually is durable. What I'd really like to do based upon its quality is to get about a hundred yards of this, and have the fence be about 60 in height. I'm not sure exactly what this material is, maybe pvc? Either way it's tough. I like it so much I'm going to give it five stars and insofar as the prices concerned yes, it's definitely worth it and I consider it to be a good buy.

This netting has such a strong chemical odor to it that that alone may deter deer! And I took two stars off for that odor. The netting itself is more like a net than a plastic mesh. It has a soft vs hard texture. It does come with zip ties and some short hoop stakes. The height at 7’ is not going to stop many deer though. Maybe good for deterring rabbits? This may be useful for some folks and some applications though. The netting seems decently made. Not a great value. Time will tell how it holds up.

I live in by woods and have deer in my yard constantly, along with wild turkeys. While my dogs do a good job scaring them off during the day, at night they eat my trees and plants. I got this netting to help protect my plants. It is fairly heavy duty and the edges are thicker, reinforced. It was very easy to install. I just hooked it to my existing fence and added a pole in the ground to wrap it around. I don't know how it would hold up if a deer really pushed and tried to get through it, but so far, it is doing just fine keeping the wildlife away from my garden.

This fencing has turned out to be way more useful than I expected. I originally picked it up to keep the deer and rabbits out of the garden beds, but it works just as well for giving climbing plants something to grab onto. The plastic is lightweight and easy to cut to whatever size you need, and it sets up without a lot of fuss. For the price, it covers a decent amount of ground and does the job without looking like you've turned your yard into a construction zone. It's not going to stop a determined large animal if it's not staked down properly, so make sure you secure the edges well. But for casual garden protection or guiding vines and other climbers, it's a practical and flexible option that earns its keep. I've got it doing double duty in a couple spots and haven't had any complaints from the cucumbers or the clematis.
