They are relatively "thick" due to the true 1000-thread count made from very comfortable 100% cotton, which is EXACTLY what we were looking for. We really like the satin-like feel of these sheets and the way they keep a look of being fresh-starched but without the starch (not that loose-draping, cheap-sheets-feel). I have spent lots of time going over reviews in order to buy bed sheet for a relatively affordable prince. I am very sensitive to touch and therefore very picky to bed sheet. In the end, we tried one brand. It wasn't that cheap, 60 dollars just for the sheet itself. The touch was a bit rough so I returned it. I tried this brand then, which was priced under 100 dollars, but has four pieces. You could do the math so it is actually cheaper. I am very very happy about the quality!!! Even my husband, who would never comment on anything I buy, said this sheet feels good. We have a super king size bed. It fits well without much struggle. the color (light blue) also looks clean and nice. Now I am thinking to change our kids' sheet all into this brand. ... show more

Anyone who gave these sheets a single star saying they are scratchy, rough and sandpaper, are very wrong for doing so. These sheets feel very soft after a wash. Heck they even felt soft out of the package. Last set I purchased were 600 count at Bed bath and beyond for 80 dollars and those were amazing sheets. However, these sheets feel thicker and cooler to the touch comparatively. They also fit my mattress (17” deep) which is usually an issue when considering new sheets. I bought these Nov 2018. Been meaning to write review. It's now Summer 2019. I was a bit concerned when i 1st got them, Yes they were heavy and stiff. But give em time. They WILL soften. I wash this set by itself in machine, and then only top or bottom (1 at a time in the dryer). They are dense, and separating makes the difference. I do not over dry, as the directions state. This will lengthen the life of the sheets. An addit perk i didn't expect, if you have animals on your bed...my cat runs all over the bed. In the past, once i got bedsheets to that soft broken in point, it wasn't long before his sharp nails would puncture holes, that then turned into bigger holes. Not so w these. Thanks to the 'beef' of these sheets that hasn't happened. Also, w other 100% cotton sheets, all his cat hair where ever he laid, i need to roller tape. Another great perk. i don't know why, but his hair is not left behind for me to clean up. I got Dk Grey. Very rich slate grey. Love them!!! ... show more

well. they are high quality sheets I'll say that much. very thick and heavy as Id expect. a bit stiff, but I would imagine they would loosen up over time. They weren't supper soft, but this high thread count, its going to take time. they were slick and the sateen weave gave off a nice sheen, they just need to be worn in to loosen and soften up. Only one big problem. I ordered Queen size. the packaging says queen size. When I went to put them on the bed I noticed a problem. The sheets are King sized. returning them. ... show more

We've now purchased 3 sets, two sets of sheets (Royal 1000 Thread Count, Chateau 800 Thread Count) and these pillow cases. We didn't purchase the sheet set because my wife didn't want white (Split King only available in white). The Pizuna fabric is the thickest. After one washing they are rough and not very supple. There is no doubt of the quality of this fabric. Does 1000 thread count make a difference? Definitely!! It will likely take a good dozen washings before they would be very supple and comfortable. They are VERY much worth the money. Of the 3, these represent the best value. I can't comment on the fit of the fitted sheets given we purchased the pillow cases but the pillow cases are very large. Really, too big! (King) Once they're washed enough and become more supple their large size will not be bothersome. After one wash they are bothersome. For now I have this pillow case on a formed latex pillow that I put between my legs at night. They are too rough, right now, to be against my face. I'll say this, once they've been broken in I suspect they will be the best of all three. So, in assessing the 3, I would pick these above any that we have tried or compared to.     • Color nowhere what I expected
These sheets seems good quality, Heavy weight and comfortable. After two washes they are getting decent. However, the color is not just a -little- off but very different than I expected. The color was 'plum' and the pictures look to be dark purple (I have purple accents in my room and needed purple). The color I got can best be called 'dusty maroon' or faded maroon'. Very disappointed. Nice sheets, but I cannot recommend you trust the color if this is important for design purposes. I admit the color 'plum' can have many interpretations, and internet pictures can have variation - but these appear to be in an entirely different color class, not just a variation. I guess I'll use them as "who cares that they completely clash with the room, they are comfy', everyday sheets. But I won't buy any more. ... show more

I have bought 3 sets of these over the years for myself and my family and these are simply the best!! These are thick, cool, soft, durable sheets made of excellent lasting quality! I have bought the silver and dark grey queen sheets and fitted sheets. My mattress is a queen 13 inch thick memory foam and the fitted sheet fits perfectly with a little room. The top sheet is extra long with a good 15 inches to tuck under at the bottom with plenty overhang on the sides. I just love these sheets, hope you will too! ... show more
