They’re tires. Amazing tires actually So far here in Southern California they’ve been great. Few weeks from now I’m going to brave the rock cobbler - which is due to be a nasty mud fest given the recent amount of rain We’ll see what these look like after 2.12.24 A few days before the Rock Cobbler 11 kicked off, there were a round of updates and suggestions about tire choices based on the rain that had hit the area. Rain meant mud - actually the cows added some fun too. All enough to consider moving to a narrow tire All told, no issues. Non. My checkpoint has a decent amount of tire clearance with 40mm’s. After the 90 ish miles wrapped, I noticed dried latex around the chain stays so maybe a small puncture that sealed. But in both flying downhill and crawling uphill these were perfect ... show more

Great tires, used them to upgrade the tires on my son’s trek Domane. They were easy to setup. Nice and solid with a good grip on the road.

These tires are can be difficult to set-up tubeless, especially if you don’t have the right tools. I’ve been mounting tubeless tires on my gravel bike for about five years and put about 5000 miles on them annually. That said, some tires are much easier to set up than others. The Pirelle Cincurato is stiffer and less pliable, but once set up, they are great. They seat well and hold air well with minimal daily deflation. Their durability and rolling resistance are above average and I’ve ridden on a lot of different tires. ... show more

Bought a pair for my gravel bike. 700x45 front goes flat in 3 days! It’s fully seated with orange seal endurance and it just is not right. Yes I check my psi every ride, but how can I trust it on a long ride if it leaks so easily…? The 700x40 rear is fine and loses air in a normal timeframe. Set them up tubeless and first ride on primarily loose gravel and ran them @ 36 psi. They were super grippy on gravel w/o seeming slow. They were however, slow on tarmac at that low of pressure. 2nd ride, ran them at 52 psi and rode primarily on tarmac, and busted a hole in center of tread of rear tire on a gravel downhill (a road I’ve ridden dozens of times before). Could have just been dumb luck, but I’m disappointed in getting a hole in a tire with barely 20 miles on it. ... show more

I got two of these for my trip to Joshua tree where it can get a bit sandy. Ended up keeping them on as they give me a lot of confidence on dirt. Definitely some rolling resistance if you are on pavement, but on dirt these are awesome.
