  • Nice all around tire
Color: black/black Size: 700x40c
The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M Bike Tire is great for mixed surface use. I go out for recreational bike rides. Maybe 5 -10 miles. The rolling resistance on pavement is good and rolls nice with the center rib. When riding on non-paved surfaces the extra traction is nice. I initially orderd 700 x 45c since my existing tires were that size. I found out that there is alot of variety with that size and these Pirelli were bigger , even those the number was the same. I returned those and ordered 700 x 40c . The tires are made in France. You will need the plastic tire levers, snug fit. I would buy again. ... show more

  • Lots of confidence in the loose
Color: black/classic tan Size: 700 x 45
Tough tire, lots of grip on loose, steep, technical climbs up terrible rutted borderline mountain bike roads. And they really helped smooth out the fast washboard descents while maintaining confidence through corners and loose gravel. I ran these in the 45mm tubeless on my Trek Checkpoint SL6 for a dry edition of the Wasatch All Road gravel race this weekend in Heber, Utah. I previewed the course with the stock 40mm Bongrager Team Issue GR1 tires and had a difficult time maintaining traction on the loose steep bits. While on the other had I had total confidence running the Pirelli's. I'm sure I sacrificed some rolling resistance on the smooth parts of the course but they definitely lowered my stress overall. I was able to make it through 8 hours, 100 miles and 11,000 feet of vert cleanly. I'm sure I sacrificed some rolling resistance on the smooth parts but they definitely lowered my stress and I think that was worth more to me overall. Plus, I think the bike looks super cool with these big burly bad boys! ... show more

  • Good Tires
Color: black/classic tan Size: 700 x 50
I've been super happy with this tire. Mounted tubeless very easily, on the first try.

  • Works well on Hunt 650b Adventure Gravel Wheelset on Surly Midnight Special
Color: black/classic tan Size: 650 x 50
These tires are fast rolling, mount up nicely to my Hunt 650b wheel set. I'm a larger rider and I and run lower pressures without issue. You do have to keep in mind that it's not as aggressive as a full mountain tire from other manufacturers. I'm debating on going with a set of Maxxis Ikon's 27.5 x 2.35 to tackle more trails with less tire slippage from the rear when descending. For mostly roads, and hard pack gravel, these are hard to beat, the skinwall color is quite nice. ... show more

  • Impressive
Color: black/classic tan Size: 700 x 40
They’re tires. Amazing tires actually So far here in Southern California they’ve been great. Few weeks from now I’m going to brave the rock cobbler - which is due to be a nasty mud fest given the recent amount of rain We’ll see what these look like after

  • Update: stretched
Color: black/black Size: 650 x 45
Update: The tires stretched quite a bit. A digital caliper shows 50mm on the 45s. This expanded the tire to within a few mm of the drive side chain stay— not enough clearance to be safe from potential frame damage. There’s a notion out there that gravel tires are better and faster if they are smooth. I had to get over that sentiment to buy these. But I’m very happy with them. I’m not spinning out like I used to; this would seem to mean more power is being transferred. They also have a center line ridge that I think makes them good and relatively fast on the road. And of course the width and knobs mean shredding trails and fire/logging roads with abandon. Like other tires, tire pressure needs to be dialed in. As far as net speed goes, I can certainly believe they aren’t as aero as a smoother tire. But overall I’m sold. ... show more

  • Lots of grip for a gravel bike
Color: black/classic tan Size: 650 x 50
250lbs bike and rider, installed on 650b wheels X 50mm tire. Worked great on a local mountain bike trail with some chunder. No loss of controll. These went on easy, but installing 700c x 45mm on my cousins bike was difficult.
