Not sure where they get the 12x12 because the width is 11.25 and the depth is 11.5. The height of each cubby is 7, not 7.28. That means the drawers are about a quarter inch smaller than that. So, now when searching for more drawers, the inaccurate measurements make that difficult. I wish they had the option of buying drawers separately. That said, it looks pretty good and does the job. It likely won't last more than a couple years but that's all I really needed it for anyway. ... show more

I got a pair of these for a children's closet and the size and customizability is great. These are standard in price compared to similar offerings, so no compromising quality for a very low cost. My biggest concern was how sturdy it was and if things would begin to fall apart. The hooks and top board are nice and strong. I don't think the weight of any clothes will cause it to come down. The shelfs on the other hand are pretty bendy and as you can see in the picture, about 10 pairs of boys shorts are all it can take. I don't see it breaking, just flexing. While everything else is as I would want it, I do find it annoying that when you pull the drawers out, it also pulls the whole thing towards you. ... show more
