Likes: case feels very snug and fits well/snapped on the iPad 10.2/8th gen, the different positions stand up well both on hard and soft surfaces, the portrait mode is definitely a perk, magnetic/smart cover is reliable, case has lip that comes up slightly above screen to protect from laying on surfaces Dislikes: cover doesn't shut perfectly square on the screen all the time and sits a little crooked because of all the bends in the cover/lid (but it's simple enough to fix by opening the cover and laying it back down a little more slowly), the power/volume buttons are stiff and almost require two hands to stabilize the iPad while pushing the buttons 4 stars! Would buy again.

I had the same Pipetto Origami case for my 2016 Ipad Pro 9.7....perfect in every way! This case, for my 10.5 Ipad Pro is almost perfect....Pipetto changed the clear casing that protects the back and sides of the ipad to a softer rubber, which makes it very difficult to push in the volume and lock buttons. I prefer the harder plastic casing!

I've been using the "origami" style cases for the past few iPads its been hard finding one for 10.2" iPad without a pencil holder. Fitment and construction on this one is great and I really like the translucent rear. The only "flaw" to it is that the volume buttons take more effect to depress now. The On/Off button is fine, but case's covering over the volume up and down button takes a bit more effort than I think it should.

This is my third purchase of this origami style case. I owned 2016 iPad Pro. The first just wore out after 4 years. I then bought another one for the same iPad Pro. Just after in arrived I decided to upgrade to the new IPad Pro 11. So I just got the new case. Although the back is clear so those who want to see the engraving. Again it is fantastic. Well worth the money.

This is my third Pipetto Origami case. I have always loved them! But this is a revised design (I think). There is a gap along the line along the spine of the case (see pics), which doesn’t go all the way from the top to the bottom. Because of that, when you stand your iPad up portrait style, it leans. Badly. Very annoying, and I sometimes try to put something under one side so that it won’t lean, but I don’t always have anything handy. And I shouldn’t have to do that anyway. In addition, the seam came apart and I ended up having to go buy some superglue to reattach . Poor quality control. Sorry Pipetto, but you need to reassess your design and your quality control. Go back to your former design and, presumably, manufacturer.
