Been having issues with suger but am not on insulin! Just wanted to keep an eye on it because I been borderline! I used other one before I hate sticking my finger but this model is not painful and it is very easy! The needles are throw away one time use! I will definitely use this one over the rest!

As a new diabetic, I was terrified about the process of pricking my finger. However, the pip lancets are the absolute best, you don’t really feel a thing. Of course, if you go over an area you already pricked, you’ll feel it a tiny bit but nowhere near as much as other lancets. Sometimes the strips don’t work right but that doesn’t bother me much. I love my meter so much that I actually bedazzled mine haha. I recommend it to all the diabetics in my family (there’s a lot of us too). Battery life is great. Great value. Easy to use. The case could be a little roomer, so it could hold the test strip container... but other wise a great improvement over the kit my mother uses. The single use lancets is my favorite thing about this kit. Everything fits in the included carry bag except for the test strips. It only takes a tiny drop of blood and about 5 seconds to get a reading. I have nothing to compare it to, so don't know how accurate it is but I am confident that the readings it provides is in the right ballpark. ... show more

I loveeee this meter !!! The accuracy is spot on and the fact that it’s travel size is amazing ! It’s easy and quick to use. I’ve used many different meters especially Contour One Next and the Pip has been the most accurate and painless. I would buy this meter again and recommend it to family !

Not a great product. Half of the time the test strips do not react to the drop of blood and you have to use another one...Which means that you may have to prick yourself again if it's dried up. This morning I had to use THREE test strips and poke myself three times to get an accurate reading. Frustrating. UPDATE: Just used three more test strips and two lancets and I still don't have a reading. Don't waste your money. ... show more
