The Pioneer DJ 4-Channel DJ Controller works with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro mixers. Add transitions by turning the Merge FX knob to create tension and anticipation in your music. Full-size wheels make pitch bending and scratching feel natural as the wheels are the same size as CDJ-3000 multi-player controller. With features like Jog Cutter and Sample Scratch, this controller allows you to create professional-sounding scratch effects and choose sounds assigned to the sampler to load onto decks for live remixing and easy-to-use scratch effects.

My first DJ hardware ever and I picked up on how to use this for the basic mixing. FX and sampling is new to me so it’ll take me a while to master but I’m confident I’ll get there with YouTube or classes. The white color is way more unique than the white in my opinion. Major let down to not include a reverse crossfader switch on the controller. I frequently use that feature live in the mix. Well not with thus controller.

    • Cheap Controller, c'mon Pioneer!
Pioneer is by far the leading company for DJ equipment. Their professional CDJs and DJM cost an arm and a leg. To put it in perspective, 4x CDJs and 1x DJM WITHOUT cases would run you around $12,500 BEFORE tax. Needless to say, their equipment sells incredibly well and they are oftentimes sold out. With that being said, the controller feels like it was made from cheap plastic. Additionally, for a near $800 controller you would *think* they would actually include proper outputs. Do they have any balanced outputs? No. All they have is unbalanced RCA outputs, which means you can't really take this to a professional venue and perform with it. I absolutely love pioneer, but I would 100% advise against buying this board. Pioneer has become increasingly greedy and has been cutting down on the features available for their equipment. I do enjoy that they allow you to use 4 decks at the same time, but if you look at their XDJ-XZ, even though that all in one controller board has 4 dedicated channels, they do not offer the same feature. That board costs around $2,500 if you can find it at MSRP. Overall I am incredibly disappointed with Pioneer and their latest products. I can't justify supporting their company. Please DO NOT buy this. There are a lot of other controllers out there that you can learn on for beginners. The only way we can protest the greed of companies is with our wallets. - V ... show more
