I’ve received so many compliments when wearing these that I bought another pair in a different color. They are super light, super stretchy, fit great, wash well. I hang to dry them and any wrinkles from the washer fall out. They dry very quickly. These are not just for hiking. I’ve worn them to church, shopping, out to lunch.     • Great material; too short in crotch.

Edit: So I did lose another 8-10#, and while they are still a little short through the crotch, they were better, and quite wearable. I’m glad I kept them. But I’m still stretching the waistband on a chair between washings. :) Original: The material is great: smooth, cool touch, thin but not flimsy or clingy. And I love the blue-grey color. I want to love these pants, but… the rise (or crotch length) is way too short. And I never have this problem with pants. But these are tight in the crotch, causing creasing and bunching in the front, not to mention being uncomfortable. The only way to adjust that is to pull the pants down so the waist is distinctly low-rise. But that is not comfortable either, and causes a muffintop, since the waist is rather tight. For reference, I am 5’5”, weigh 165#, and have a hour glass shape. So the waistband is not tight for me when it’s up at my true waistline. But in that position, I almost have a wedgie. I am in the process of losing some weight (for real; I’ve lost 8# so far), so I may hold onto these until I’ve lost another 10#, but I’m rather doubtful that will help, since they fit so oddly in the crotch while the rest of it fits just fine. Perfect fit and so comfortable. Easy no wrinkle for packing. Pockets work well and front one for phone etc. The length was perfect for a tall person. Went hiking and was perfect for most weather conditions. Well make and have now bought 2 pairs in different colors.

    • Not bad but not what I currently need

The media could not be loaded. I bought two, one in gray at XXL and one in Army Green in XL.. I anticipated foreign sizing so I sized up and anyway, I rather have more of a freer than tight fit. The material is lightweight and the material stretches which is good. It is a bit silky (or so - to - speak). The XXL is too big on me. The XL is a bit better but the cut and design is meant for a person who is a bit taller and the pants just don't look too good on me as far as I am concerned. Not a very flattering fit. I am not looking for anything "feminine" or "Curve enhancing" etc. I just would like a properly form fitting but also loose fit for freedom of movement . The cut is overall more of a unisex type which I like very much but I cannot size down for a bit of a closer-to-body fit as I think it would be too tight at the waist. At my age I do not need pants that are too tight at the waist. I think I will return these and think them over. I still would recommend these pants to others if I think it is what they need. They are not bad . Foreseeably they would be good for lounging around in, for general use, for travel and exercising but the style is not what I am currently looking for. ... show more

Fit just right overall, good length (I am 5'7") and the medium fit well. Note that you cannot go by the size chart at all. It told me to get an XS since I weight 120, but I had to get a medium to get the proper fit. A small was too tight in the waist.
