This is an excellent rifle scope. Not only is it a powerful optic, but it also has a laser for even greater accuracy. Very easy to zero in. Very solid, I feel like this scope will last for years. It is easy to mount, but it does require 1"diameter scope mount rings, sold separately.

As LPVO's go, this one is about as good as they come for an optic that costs less than $100. In addition to the 3x9 adjustment (erector value 3), this optic comes with a built IN laser pointer to acquire targets quickly and accurately. And please, don't let the "LV" dissuade you from giving this optic a chance to show you what it is capable of. There is n.o.t.h.i.n.g. cheap about this optic as far as the quality of the material, the build or the operation about it. Actually. I'm pretty impressed that an optic of this quality comes at such a low price. What I Like: Built from aircraft grade aluminum. It's lightweight, tough and shock resistant. Will not corrode. The objective lens features multi-coated lenses that allow for a good, clear, target presentation. At 42mm, this lens allows a lot of light to enter and works very well in low light situations. Nitrogen filled tube. Prevents fogging for clear shots in various conditions. The laser emitter is built INTO the optic, not as a side attachment. Your laser sees what you're aiming at and you can easily adjust your W/E settings to put bullets on target. The laser emitter is activated with a simple on/off turret on the left side of the optic or you can add the remote switch to operate the laser without having to look away from the optic. Laser is visible at 100yds in daylight conditions. W/E adjustments are 1/4" at 100yds, making adjustments very accurate. Comes with a nice set of vulcanized rubber lens covers to protect your optic when in storage or traveling in your gun bag. A cleaning cloth is provided to remove dust and lint. Includes two batteries making this optic 'ready to go' once you have mounted and leveled it. Unfortunately this doesn't come with mounting rings. I originally requested this to gift my grandson. He's been shooting with me for several years and is just starting to shoot ranges greater than 100yds but after giving this PINTY Rifle 3-9x42 Gun Scope a test run, I'll keep it for the time being. I really enjoy precision shooting at long ranges and while I do have several optics costing many times what this one does, I am pretty impressed with the overall operation and accuracy this optic provides. On first look it is easy to see that Pinty paid a lot of attention to the quality and performance of this optic and it fully supports the $80 purchase price. Putting it to the test has been impressive to say the least. If you're looking for an optic that provides a lot of convenience and operates well for an "LV" price, you've come to the right place.

I just mounted what is pretty much an identical scope onto my wife's Ruger 10-22, but that one was from another company. I liked that scope so much that I ordered this one...the one I already had was unavailable. To my surprise, this is a dead nuts clone of the other one, and is just as nice. I'm not sure if there is one manufacturer and different distributors rebrand them for their own good, but either way this is a nice scope. The glass is crystal clear with zero deformation. There are several layers of anti-glare coatings (that's the claim), the magnification dial is smooth and easy to use. There are positive detents for both windage and elevation and you don't have to worry about losing the caps while adjusting. It is a bit big for the magnification. I have a few Swampfox Optic Scopes that are the same magnification, but hey have bigger tubes and are a bit shorter. That's not shortselling this scope...it gets the job done. The laser, which is only good for dimly lit shooting scenarios, is easy to adjust and is easily seen thru the lens...providing it isn't too bright outside. Here's the tip....use a laser bore sight to align your crosshairs, and then zero your laser to match. You can always use the laser and the crosshairs in tandem to better judge for elevations at distance. You might not use the laser every time, but it is handy. Now, you will want to get yourself some very very sticky mounting tape if you plan on using the pressure switch to activate the laser...they don't include any. Me, I am going to just use the on/off dial instead of the switch...I'm better at remembering to turn things off than I am disconnecting things. If you have the pressure switch applied and set your rifle down on the side, you'll be killing the battery in no time. To each his own I guess. Bottom line....great scope for the price.

The "PINTY Rifle Scope, 3-9x42 Gun Scope with Built-in Red Laser" has excellent clarity and seems well made. This scope has fully adjustable windage and elevation adjustment for both reticle and laser and is easy for my older eyes to see. The clicks are easily felt during adjustment. It also includes a convenient pressure switch for effortless laser activation and comes with an attached lens cover so it won't get lost. I am confident this scope will provide many years of service.
