    • Cheap construction and not designed very well to say the least.
I mean it's a cheap laser what can I say? I mean I would recommend it for anyone with a BB gun who wants a laser on it or something along those lines but don't expect it to last real long or be real user-friendly or even look all that cool unless you want to remove the little picatinny rail that's under it and even then you may have difficulty getting it into your holster because it likes to get caught on things and the buttons not really that great either or easy to get to in a hurry and after a few rounds it was definitely offsite and off Target and had to be readjusted although it did last longer than the other one on here in the $20 range but I mean like I said unless you I just wanting a cheap site for a BB gun I can't really say I would recommend this for any real firearm users although it may work on other things like rifles or something but it was a hassle on my handgun and once the batteries are dead you're kind of screwed unless you got some lying around or want to spend a bit more than what you paid for this to even get batteries for it. Not really worth the money for me though cuz there's better things out there for $10 or $15 more, way better than this as a matter of fact... ... show more

    • Initial Satisfaction Gone
At first I was exceptionally please at this sight's performance and value. The laser do is bright and clear. I used it once and it died in less than an hour's use. I attributed it to the cheap batteries that came with it, one of which tested as dead. I got some new batteries and fired it back up. Again, good laser spot, but this time it died after about 30 minutes of use. Again, I checked the batteries, but found them all in good shape. At that point, I wondered if maybe the unit was over heating. I was thinking when I went looking for batteries (watch batteries, as it turns out) that perhaps the laser was sourced from a laser pointer and wasn't intended for continuous use. I'm going to fiddle with it some more, but my initial enthusiasm based on its outward appearance of good quality and good value is pretty well gone. ... show more

    • Low cost training laser for dry firing and fun
I purchased this laser to install on my Taurus TX 22's picatinny rail under the barrel. The laser arrived quickly and was complete with three allen wrenches, three batteries and the unit itself. Set up was extremely easy, it fits onto the rail very easily and it tightens to a secure hold. I didn't have super high expectations based on some of the reviews, but for the price I have to say I am impressed with this laser. Windage and elevation adjustments are very easy to make. I have read several online articles on how to zero a laser with your gun. Like everything there are several schools of thought on the correct method. I have my gun zeroed at 25 yds and the laser is set to be just above the front sight at 10 yards. Using the red laser sight outside is a challenge due to the laser power. Anything beyond 10 yards in direct sunlight washes it out, but for early, late or shade outdoor areas this works great. If you need to have a laser for full sunlight, you will want to use a green laser as they are much more powerful but they will also consume batteries. A great use for the laser is to use it for dry fire training. With the laser on, any movement during dry fire practice will be exaggerated and easily seen with the laser. If you are looking for an inexpensive laser to try out to see if you would like to use one, I would recommend giving this one a try. ... show more
