  • So much better then i expected!
Just got this 4x prism fiber optic scope and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with its performance. As an avid hunter and shooter, I have used many different scopes in the past, but this one stands out above the rest. First of all, the clarity of the optics is outstanding. The 4x magnification allows for a clear and precise view of my target, even at longer distances. The fiber optic enhances the brightness and contrast, making it easy to acquire and track my target, in low light it glows red and its pretty bright. When then reticle is in the light the black retile isnt illuminated thus being able to use the eteched reticle with no need for illumination. The construction of the scope is also top-notch. It feels sturdy and well-built, and I do not doubt that it can withstand the rugged outdoor conditions. The compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry around on my hunting trips. One of the things I love most about this scope is the illuminated reticle. It has multiple brightness settings, which is perfect for different lighting conditions. I have used it in low light situations and the reticle was still clearly visible, allowing me to take accurate shots. The ease of use is another great feature of this scope. The adjustments for windage and elevation are smooth and precise, and the eye relief is comfortable. It also comes with a quick detach mount, making it easy to attach and remove from my rifle. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of this prism fiber optic scope. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, durability, and ease of use. I highly recommend this scope to any fellow hunters or shooters looking for a high-quality optic. It is definitely worth the investment and has earned a solid rating from me. ... show more

  • Very good overall - minor focus issue....
Overall, this is a good scope. It's got a fixed magnification power of 4X, and there's no distortion that I could see either at close range or far off. The scope is built well and feels solid, and held zero despite banging it around. The scope mount is built into the bottom and just screws onto a regular picatinny rail. There's a backup iron sight integrated into the top, which has a short fiber optic tube for the front sight. This is smart as it gives a non-magnified sight picture which will always work even if your glass gets messed up (cracks, mud, etc.) The windage and elevation knobs are capped; they are still but give good, positive clicks for every 1/2" change. A lens shade is included, and which works. The long red tube along the top is the fiber optic element; it gathers light and gives you your red reticle. That reticle will glow proportionately to the amount of light hitting that tube. The photo I took shows the reticle with indoor lighting. Sunlight gives an intense glow! Darkness means NO glow, although the black reticle marks will still be there. Eye relief is about 2". There is a little issue with this scope which is not major, but is noticeable. The focus knob at the eye end should be a diopter adjustment - basically calibrating the scope internally so the reticle is sharp. And it does that... but it also changes the scope focus. That's fine in and of itself, but the problem is that (at least on the scope I received) you can't get both the image and the reticle to perfectly focus at the same time! Reticle in focus? Image is just a bit off... okay, now the image is clear, but the reticle numbers are a bit blurry! It's by no means terrible or unusable, and I just got the image in focus and dealt with the reticle numbers being slightly blurred. I think the scope is otherwise good so maybe this one was just slightly out of spec. I think this is still a useful option if it meets your other needs and wants from a scope. ... show more

  • Seems decent but eye relief was horrible
Received it and mounted it onto my AR-15 seemed like a solid built optic bit the eye relief was terrible almost had to put my eye up all the way to the scope which would not work on an AR unless you wanted a black eye so I decided to return it.

  • Good quality at an affordable price.
I just bought a new MP-5 and wanted a smaller scope for it. This fit the bill perfectly. It's a nice compact size, the glass is clear and the iron sights on top are a nice touch. For the money it is really well built and I would definitely recommend. The scope is fiber optic so the center of the cross hairs glows red and the best part is no battery to wear down because you forgot to turn it off. It has a flip up cover on the back side and a sunscreen on the front. Nice big knobs so you can easily take it off and put it back on with no tools necessary. It's definitely not a long range scope but it does say it's for medium range. Depending on your eyesight probably 30-50 yards, I could probably see the target further out than that but doubt I could tell what I was hitting. The eye relief is kind of short so I don't know if I would put it on a high power rifle or you might end up with a black eye. ... show more
