    • Seems cheaply made
I returned this item as that when I open the box I did not like the lightweight of the hoe, just seemed too flimsy and I also assumed there would be a handle on them. If you put a handle on them the attachment hole for the handle is less than an inch.

The hoe is a hand model. It was not sharp as advertised. It has a rough blunt edge. I like the design. I feel the blacksmith should double check the hoes for sharpness.

    • Cannot attach long handle.

The photos misrepresent the product. The hoe is made of steel and very sturdy but a wooden handle cannot be attached as the photo shows. The hollow end, where a wooden handle would be is very small and a handle cannot fit into the shank of the actual hoe. I'm sending it back.

Probably my fault for not reading the dimensions but I was let down at first by the skinny handle. I have small hands and I still felt it was more suited to a child’s hands. But I gave it a try…once again disappointed. I felt it wasn’t sharp enough, especially since I couldn’t get a really good grip on it, but husband sharpened it for me and then it worked much better. My advice to maker is make it so a long broom type handle can be added which would automatically make the current handle thicker. I want royalties if this company takes my design ideas to improve their product. ... show more

    • Item way smaller than expected
It will only work on soft soil. It is a handheld tool. Plenty of bending. If you plan to spend many hours on your knees than this the tool for you. It was a waste of money for me.
