I got this as a Christmas present for my 5 year old niece, and she LOVED it. She is really in to superheros, so it was definitely a good choice for her. I thought it was really cute and pretty good quality, considering the price. The only problem that I could see was that the belt doesn't have any way of attaching in the back -- no velcro or snaps or anything. I guess this is done so that it can be sized to the kid (??) but it was pretty inconvenient. You might want to get some stick-on velcro to go with this costume. I read a review where someone talked about the skirt being a different color than the top, and I noticed that too, but I didn't think it was a major problem -- it was pretty subtle, and it sort of added to the visual interest (I mean, it's a LOT of hot pink -- your eyes start to get tired after looking at it a while), ... show more

I'm so happy with this costume. My daughter wanted the super girl costume from Wal-Mart but I wasn't happy with the material and how cheap it looked. When I opened this and put it on her it fit perfectly and it didn't look cheap. Its It's nice and shiny and the belt is perfectly silver. No flaws at all. I ordered a size small my daughter is 7 years old and usually Wears a 6-6x in clothing and this fit so well. Now the boots we are going to have to work with but her shoe size is a 13 And the boot barely fits the tip of her toe. But if you pull it from her knees down a little it covers it. My child wore this for super hero day at school, zoo boo at our local zoo, again to school on Halloween and then trick or treating so it was definitely was worth the purchase! The shoe covers were nice and easy too use. stayed up by themselves. I noticed the "belt" started to fad after a few washes, but I did not consider that to be an issue as it was after many wears. This costume is actually made of nice fabric, shiny but no loose glitter. The hems are actually finished which makes the outfit look a lot nicer that the ones you see in target and Wal-Mart with exposed threads and edges. I bought this for my 17 month old who is in the 75th percentile and it fit well in the body and arms, just a little long in the sleeves. The boots are big enough for a 6 yr old to fit over her shoes but I can deal with that, will either have to alter them or just not wear them, they are also too tall they come up to her waist. ordered this in toddler. I am overall pleased with the product because of the price, it is lightyears higher quality than store bought costumes in this price range. Also it says to spot wash with a damp rag but I actually ran it through the wash on delicate no spin and line dried it and it turned out good. ... show more

Just like the picture. Arrived 4 days early to New Zealand. Boot covers are thick and good quality. Costume (excluding boots) completely survived a whole wet winter day at preschool (running, jumping, sand pit, monkey bars, gloop, painting) and the washing machine. My daughter is a size 4t and the boots were too big on the foot and the top of them was covered by the dress and the dress fit but big (which was expected) the belt ties at back and cinched the waist so all was perfectly cute. This costume will definitely last more dress ups over the next few years haha. Somehow between this and another small $20 item ticked up over another $50 ontop of the p+p so beware of that that.... coz that was awlful. ... show more

Even better than expected! Most packaged costumes have a pretty low quality or poor fit. This dress fits my daughter so well, it fits like an actual dress (she's 4 and I ordered the small). The material for the dress is nice as well, if it didn't have a big logo on it, I'd let her wear this any time (maybe I will!). The only thing she doesn't like is the boots - they aren't actual boots (which is as expected), but they cover the shoes to look like boots, so she may not wear them. The other thing is the cape is so little (see the picture, no surprises), but my daughter has another cape she will wear instead. Definitely surpasses expectations for a packaged costume, and great for the low price! ... show more

Beautiful overall costume. The shoe covers are a bit small. They don’t fit over my 8 yr old daughters big kid size 1 sneakers, however, they do fit over her ballet type shoes. Sneakers are more comfortable to go trick or treating so it would be helpful if the covers were a bit longer.
