Based on the size chart, I should have worn a medium, but the waist was way too big. I sent it back and ordered a small, but that waist was too small. Also, the small came with a broken button falling off. The material is ok-it’s a little scratchy. Also, the skirt is longer than I expected.

I got this skirt in the black and white plaid and the pattern is really nice. It’s classic, stylish, and gives that perfect fall/winter vibe. The fabric is 100% polyester but does a great job mimicking the look of wool, and it feels nicely made with a flattering A-line shape. For reference, I’m 5’6” and 135 lbs and ordered my usual size medium. I think I’m kind of between sizes in this brand. The medium fits, but there is a little extra room in the waist and I actually have to pin it slightly to get the fit just right. Also the skirt is just a little longer than I expected based off of the listing photos, but still cute. This is advertised as high waisted, and I found it definitely looks best when worn that way. I usually wear my pants a little below my belly button because that’s most comfortable for me, but this skirt is much more flattering pulled up higher. A small may have fit better length wise, but it may have been too snug in the waist. I do appreciate that this isn’t an ultra-short mini skirt. It’s modest enough to feel comfortable while still looking cute and feminine, but it’s almost so long and because it’s slightly big on me (if I don’t pin and alter it) that it borders on looking matronly. I think it would look best on my body type if it was just a few inches (2-3”) shorter. The hidden side zipper and elastic waistband are nice details, and the decorative buttons add a polished touch. Overall, this is a cute, versatile skirt that pairs perfectly with black or white sweaters, turtlenecks, tights, and tall boots for fall.

I love a wool skirt! This one is 100% polyester, but I could swear it's real wool. And here's the thing.. I think it's better than wool! It is so soft, like a sweater, but formed like wool. I ordered the skirt as an addition to my upcoming fall and winter wardrobe. And I'm so glad I did! Honestly, the photos do not do it justice. The skirt is the perfect length in my usual size small. It's true to size and looks even better in real life than it does in the product description. It is well made, and so easy to care for. Simply pop it in the wash and tumble dry on low! The only drawback, not worth knocking off a whole star, is that it is not lined. But because it's so soft, there's no fear of it riding up. This beautifully constructed and stylish skirt is reminiscent of a kilt. The design makes it look sort of like a mini kilt, and though it is a knockoff of a classic wool skirt, it looks terrific and that's what matters to me. At this price, it's an amazing garment! Pair this skirt with opaque tights and snow boots with a favorite sweater or jacket. I have a perfect jacket for it in gray. This can be worn to the office or out running errands this fall. I highly recommend this skirt if you're looking for something that looks and feels terrific! It's a great price.

This is an excellent skirt for those who are shorter and have larger hips. I ordered based on my measurements and it fits well, even the skirt length. At 5 ft, the hemline hits right at the knees which works well for work. The waist is flexible on the back so it is easy to move around in and wear all day. The fabric feels like a thicker flannel and it holds its shape well. The fit is more like a pencil skirt with little flare, but the faux wrap gives it enough movement that it’s not too fitted on me. Overall, I love this skirt and can’t wait for cooler weather to get here.
