I typically use a Taylormade driver 9.5 deg and have a naturally slight fade. I hit the PGX straight and did not lose any distance vs the Taylormade.     • Great driver for the price, but not the most durable
I really like this driver! I usually only golf about 2-3 times a year, so it makes it hard to justify spending very much on equipment and I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a $50 driver and a $300 driver. I like the large head size, it does seem a little easier to get a good hit. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because after going to the driving range once and then playing 18 holes another day, I noticed a dent on the bottom of the head of my driver. I am not great at golf, so I may have topped the ball a few times, but I don't remember having any hits that were awkward enough to cause a dent to the head though. I really have no idea how it got dented, so it may not be the highest quality or most durable product. But, like I mentioned, I don't golf that much and I am not that good, so a dented driver is still better than having to use a really old small headed driver or borrowing from friends, so I will just keep on using it. I love the way it hits, just wish it wasn't dented. ... show more

Beginner golfer so I bought this driver just over a year ago. Used it about 7 or 8 times since then and did like the way it felt and helped my game slightly. Went golfing three weeks ago, the head snapped off on hole 12. Decent quality but don't expect the club to last you that long, it's a shame

Hits 240–300 yards on driving range easily! Have no issues on durability. It’s worth more than its current selling price. It looks great as well. To play legally, use its relative predecessor—PGX Offset!

    • Really shouldn't be non conforming.
I was intrigued to find out if I could gain some yardage back that I am losing do to age. Since most of my golfing is not in competitive events I thought compliance with the USGA didn't matter much. I have gone from hitting 250-270 yards on average to 220-240 in the last 5 years. This club DOES NOT give me any extra yards and it is not more forgiving than my previous drivers either. I think if your looking for a value driver and you have slow swing speeds (say 80-85 mph) this could be a good deal. It feels good. But it won't give any extra yardage. I tested it against my 2014 Taylor Made SLDR and also my 2006 Lynx Paralax, both hit the ball more accurately and slightly further. But this driver is NOT trash. I am going to stash it away because eventually my maximum swing speed will match it. UPDATE: While this driver gives me slightly less distance, I use it as a practice club at the range. I find that when I groove the tempo/swing speed with this club, I can switch to my Taylormade and crush it! Nice training aid. ... show more
