    • Fun pinball project kit, with lots of lighting and action
This is a very detailed, very intricate pinball kit. The manual is well done overall - while it does suffer from some "engrish" here and there, the illustrations are clear and well-labeled, even if it's obvious they've never heard of terms such as "flippers" or "pop bumpers" or "slingshots" or "outlanes." The words are different, but they get the gist of pinball right. The kit is very well designed, with all the tools and materials (almost) you'll need to assemble things. I say "almost", because the kit is advertised as "no glue," yet there are some decorative parts that must be glued on (glue not included). It's a minor nit - the vast majority of the kit can be assembled using the included tools. They even include wax and a sanding stick to smooth out parts. While the game itself will never compete against a "real pin," that's not really the point. It's a fun diversion that you can play with afterwards. Great for a joint project with kids (I'd recommend pre-teen or early teen, as it does have lots of small fiddly parts and screws). ... show more

I got this Pinball Machine puzzle as a gift for my son. I have not given it to him yet so I can't yet attest to the quality of the actual pinball machine. However, I am very impressed with the packaging of this puzzle and can not wait to see his face when he opens this puzzle.
