I bought this kit to fix up a guitar I found at a thrift store. This is a pretty basic set of tools, nothing is fancy but everything functions. Took me a little bit to find out what the metal plates with slots are. (They are for putting over the frets to file them, protecting your fretboard.) It definately had the tools I need. The screwdriver is definately useful. Feels pretty sturdy. It has adjustable depth for both the flathead and Phillips sides. Easy to get into hard places. String winder is a cheap plastic one, string cutters are just wire cutters and left some to be desired. Overall it got the job done and was worth the money. If your a hobby guitarist this is for you. If your a luthier, probably not be best option. ... show more

It’s affordable for a reason, but it gets the job done. Had to struggle with the string cutter on a 48 gauge low E string, but it did work.
