I purchased these to use straight on the nails. I got the 100 jar order and probably wouldn't buy that one again as a lot of the colors are very similar. I swatched all of them and had little to no trouble getting them opaque with one try. I used gel base and top coat with a UV light. My process: base coat, cure. Apply powder with a brush, top coat cure and done. I would buy this brand again although I will probably never run out. If you're looking for a red, you won't find it here. I will also use these in crafting. For those reviews that are complaining the jars aren't all full, they explain that in the description. It's measured by weight not volume and some powders are denser than others so the jar isn't as full. You can tell a difference in the powders that are more dense and seem to have less. They are much more opaque from the get go so you use less as well. Also, there was 1 matte color (white chocolate). The rest range from shimmery to full on sparkle. ... show more

All beautiful colors, definitely recommend this product for the crafters. Easy to mix and easy to clean up. Would say it is a beginner item. A little bit goes a long way. Definitely worth every penny spent.

I know these are one of or the best powders on the market. I have always wanted to try them but they were so expensive for me but when I saw this, 100 jars I just had to have them. The jars are larger than I expected and the colors are beautiful. It was a splurge but worth every penny.

These pearlescent Baltic Day mica powder colors are amazing. Mix them with your favorite clear coat and spray them through an airbrush or spray gun. I spray over a gloss black basecoat and love the appearance. They also cleanup using your typical method and don't require any additional cleaning steps. I bought this when it was on sale for 50 and had a 20% coupon so it was relatively reasonably priced for the number of colors, however I was disappointed to see that the chameleon colors are not at all what they display. They're all pretty neutral looking in the same shade family and do not appear to have the colors shown. Another thing is that there are some that appear to be mislabeled? One of them was something black but it's actually White. Then there are the ones that for whatever reason seem to be only partially full even though they have a seal on them I don't really understand what happened there but no real quality control. They're also appears to be duplicates of some randomly. Aside from those few unfortunate circumstances if you're just starting out I still would recommend this because you get a ton of colors and they are very pretty. There are some lovely colors in there and dupes just mean to get more of one. If you're looking for something specifically for like the chameleon properties I would maybe buy a set that's only chameleon or a different brand so you know exactly what it is you're getting but I still like this set because they work well they are really shimmery and pretty and you have a ton to choose from. Just wanted to give a buyers beware so you know what you're getting into. It's still worth the money for what you get but there are some little oddities that you may see so just a heads up to know what to expect ... show more

After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical about ordering this product. The stories of poorly packaged bottles was untrue. Each bottle had its own seal under the cap and I had to about pry it off. No leakage there. As for the bottles not having the same amount of powder in them different colors have different weight so there won’t be the same amount of product by volume in the jar but there is the same amount by weight which is the way mica powder is sold. I have a gram scale and I weighed them. I have done custom auto painting but I’m using this in resin. The product mixes well and the colors are very vibrant. I’ve used a lot of pearl powder and this some of the best I’ve had. Reasonable prices and a great product. ... show more

Some of the packages are so defective that you'll have to use the entire jar because there is no way the lid will screw back on. Some of the colors seem a bit washed out. Some of the colors are gorgeous and simply fantastic. The quantity seems reasonable for the most part. It's a mixed review because it was a mixed experience. I probably won't buy this set again but will look for my favorite few separately and try to find larger sets of another brand that has more vivid colors. ... show more
