Hard plastic grips that go on easy, the threaded part on the handlebar side was threaded so deep that I had to put the cable almost all the way in just to reach some threads. I loctited the heck out of it and luckily didn't need the adjustment section to get it working right. Best complete setup I can imagine for 10 bucks. ... show more

I used this on my 25 Johnson out board motor. I know that alot of the stiffness in the system is due to the throttle linkage. I'm sure it would work great on ATV or dirt bike.
