Editing my review. I was doing it wrong! This book is really neat! The colored side goes up on the sticky part, not down. Rub it all over the adhesive, then lift. Color transfer is perfect!

The kids foil art book is a blast to use! Peeling the stickers and applying the foil to create beautiful designs is incredibly enjoyable. However, some stickers can be tricky to remove, even for adults. Getting the corner lifted can be a challenge. One major issue we encountered is that if you accidentally place the wrong side of the foil on the sticky section, you risk ripping off the entire section while trying to remove the foil. At first I thought my 3yo was just not doing it properly, but even when I gave it my best shot, the application is really spotty. And if the back of a sheet even grazes the sticky spot, it’s like a glue trap and it ruins both the foil sheet and the spot in the picture, which makes this kit much better for older kids.
