    • Best Frame Gripper!
I have had multiple frame grippers and this one is by far the best. The gripper is light weight and securely holds the frame. I can grip the frame and hold it horizontal for inspecting the bees without the frame slipping downwards. This frame gripper does not require much "squeeze" power to keep it in position. I've had others that I've had to squeeze my hand tightly just to keep it in position. Inspecting the bees is much more pleasant when you're not worrying about your tools failing and just worrying about the bees. I was hesitant about the price of this gripper because it is more than most of the others, but it was well worth every penny. It is now a guarded tool in my beekeeping toolbox. ... show more

This is a heavy duty frame gripper that will last until you lose it! I have looked for these for years and I am just now finding them. I first saw one while working with an old time bee Keeper who threatened to break my hand if I took off with his. LOL these are sturdy and should last a lifetime. I will definitely purchase more for my daughter and wife to use so I am not having to hide mine;) ... show more

    • Lightweight but durable.
This product is extremely lightweight and very durable. The only issue I have is the spring that automatically opens the jaws back up is rather flimsy so I just took it out.

This cast aluminum version is very well made and feels good in your hand. It easily catches the top bar of the beehive frames and holds them securely in any position. Great tool to use and eliminates constantly reaching across the beehive to the opposite end of the frame, thus less disturbance to the bees and not crushing them to grasp the bar with gloved fingers. ... show more

Product works well. First time bee keeper. I used it for the first time today and it worked great even with the the frames that the bees glued in. I would recommend this product. It is built well and has parts that can be replaced.
