UPDATE: I've been using this for slightly over 3.5 years now, which is a long time to be sure for a smaller purchase. Recently, a couple times now, I've rested a moderately hot pan on it for under a minute, and it's permanently squashed and whitened the affected ridges. There's one edge closest to the stove (though not directly touching anything hot), and that's lifted and warped quite a bit. Since this item is advertised as being heat resistant, I have to deduct a star. I know this is for dishes, but I bought this because it was the perfect size to put next to the stove to catch all the errant grease and keep it from ending up on the bottom of every dish. It has done so beautifully, and now I only have to wash this mat once a month instead of wiping down the counter every time I fry anything. It's not the easiest thing to wash - silicone doesn't let go of grease too easily - but the design is great for drips and splatters. It's also not its intended use case so I can't deduct points for that. It also smelled really bad right out of the bag, but it went away after a day or so.

I purchased this to protect my counter in front of my Air Fryer. i can now pull the basket out and set it down to stir or serve without worry. Perfect size, too. However, the ridges make it a bit difficult to keep clean. Since it was not made for what I am using it for, I can't complain. Works great.

Very well made. I"ve had it now for a while and I was worried that water would get under it and mold but so far that hasn't happened. It's able to take the heat from a pan that was just on the stove. I highly recommend.

This drying mat works great & the large is just the right size for my small kitchen counter. The dishes air dry and all the water collects on the mat. The grooves help the water to drain from the dishes so that they dry. Once I put the dishes away, I tip the mat into the sink & drain the water off. I have a tiny NYC apartment, so have nowhere to hang up the mat around the kitchen sink for it to dry. I hang it over the shower rod in the bathroom. Once dry, I roll it up and then store it in my oven. I use my oven for storage since it has not worked in the last 3 years!
