Paddles are mid weight, balls are outdoor balls. Grips don’t match the paddles like I’d like. Otherwise great product!

These are not fancy, high end paddles...but you can't expect that for this price. They are basic beginner paddles that are durable, colorful and great for people (like us) who just want to try out the game that EVERYONE is talking about. Great for kids and for buying a set for when you have company over to play.

The grip on this is really good and size of the handle which I didn't see on the listing. As for being advertised as lightweight, I would so no way because it's a wood paddle, no wood paddles should be considered lightweight. I knew it was wood and that's what I wanted, the weight doesn't bother me. I love the rainbow colors of the paddle with the white handle and edging and the face of the paddle which has some grit to it for grabbing the ball for topspin.

This is a very nice lightweight paddle set, with vivid colors and a nice pattern. I personally really like the original grip, it’s spongy/soft and has that little bit of stick to it. But they also include grip tape -which my daughter and I only use to differentiate who’s is who’s. We are beginners, but this is some serious competition around here. I like that it is specifically marked with the official ”USA pickleball Approved” logo. I recently bought equipment for different sport and had to return it because it didn’t have the specific USA approved logo for that specific league. I haven’t seen many pickleball paddles that have that, but with other sport organizations requiring them, I don’t think it will be long for this sport too. It doesn’t come with a carrying bag, which considering most other sets do, that is a let down. It does come in a sturdy box, which does look nice, so it could a nice gift as the description mentions or storage when not in use.
