>The first thing I noticed about the Full Choice Carbon Fiber paddle was that it was very light compared to the GoPickle wooden paddle that I've been using. In all honesty, I felt quite awkward playing with the Full Choice at first. It does NOT hit the same as a wooden paddle at all. The wooden paddle is full power all the time and limited control. >I had another friend playing with us, and he also has a carbon fiber paddle, and I believe the Full Choice was even slightly lighter than his. >The Full choice has variable power depending on where you hit the ball on the face of the paddle, and it has really good control compared to the wooden paddle. After playing with it for about an hour straight, I really got the hang of the Full Choice, and I really enjoyed it. >The control is ridiculous. With the right flick of the wrist, I could cause the ball to pretty much drop anywhere I wanted it to. During our play, I changed out for the wooden paddle and for a friend's carbon fiber paddle as well. When we first started, I would have said I that I preferred my old wooden paddle, but after playing a few games and trying the wooden paddle again, I can honestly say that I love this Full Choice paddle! Once I figured out the sweet spot for power and got use to the excellent control, I was playing so much better with the Full Choice than with the wooden GoPickle paddle. As I said earlier, I did also use a friend's carbon fiber paddle (I do not know the brand), and I preferred the Full Choice to his paddle as well. The power profile between the two was similar, but the Full Choice definitely had better control.

This pickleball paddle looks very nice and I would say the design is comparable to some higher end ones I’ve seen. It’s definitely on the larger side and the handle is also longer than most, but it’s still lightweight. Both my husband and I tried it recently and, even though we’re still beginners, we both preferred this one over some cheaper fiberglass ones we started with. Unfortunately, the nice white handle did not stay white for very long (and doesn’t clean too well), but that was bound to happen sooner or later and will probably get taped up anyways. I’m not yet sure how to use the grip tapes, but it’s a plus that it came with those along with a paddle cover. Overall, I think it’s a bit overpriced, but would still recommend!

The 16mm thickness of this paddle and whatever else they have added to the structure make this paddle nice and stiff. I equate a stiff paddle with one that provides power, and this paddle has plenty of power. It weighs exactly 8.0 ounces which puts it at a perfect balance of power and responsiveness. The face of this paddle is raw carbon fiber, which provides a good amount of grit. The weave of this carbon fiber allows the plastic from the pickleball to accumulate over time, so you will want and need a paddle eraser. I have been playing pickleball for about 3 years and have found that because my hands are larger than average, I prefer a longer handle. THIS paddle has a long handle that seems to improve my game. It's difficult to measure where the paddle ends and the handle begins, but I would give this handle a measurement of 5.7". After using a handle that is slightly longer, you will realize that you don't have to use all of the handle length, but it's nice to be able to when you need it. This pickleball paddle comes packaged in a nice looking gift box and includes 3 rolls of grip tape and a customized neoprene cover that fit perfectly and has the brand logo printed on both sides. And while grip tape is inexpensive, this is a medium thickness grip tape that improves the texture when playing with sweaty hands.

Everything else about the paddle is great - size, weight, spin... but the handle is squared off and you can feel it through the grip. This is pretty un comfortable as the edges dig into your hand and is distracting to have to adjust your grip.

I really like the surface on the paddle. It is similar to exposed carbon I suppose. It is grippy for impacting the ball to get additional spin and control. The paddle is thicker than the general paddle which seems to help with the sweet spot being a little bit bigger. This comes with 3 extra grip wraps for when you wear them out using this paddle all day. This is becoming my favorite paddle.

This is a very comfortable paddle. The grip is long. I have big hands and the grip was perfect for me. Very nice extra to get a zippered cover and even 3 extra wraps. The surface has a rough, sandpaper style tackiness that should help with spin and control. I'm not much of a spin person but I do notice a bit better control with this paddle as it seems to grab the ball better rather than letting it slide off to one side or the other. The paddle also seems to have a pretty good sweet spot.

This paddle feels great in my hand. I have a fair amount of ball control while using it as well. Between the construction of the paddle and the finish on the paddles face I am able to control the ball quite well and get it to where I want. The additional grip tape and paddle cover are great additions as well.
