I've been using this product for a couple of years now. Gets nice and cold and lasts a long time. Get two benefits, cold and massaging as its used. Like it real well as it travels well in a suitcase and can be put in a freezer and used within an hour or two. No more messy gel bags or looking for ice.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. My item seems to roll smoothly and it came intact. Put in the freezer for 2 hours. Stayed pretty cold for the 45min to 1hr that I used it. Good for targeted areas, or to ice while massaging certain areas with knots. I tried on feet, calves, thighs, shoulders, temples, back, and upper chest. My hands are a little small, so they did start to cramp after holding the base for a while. I imagine it could be designed with a better hand hold. Definitely meant to be held - not placed on the floor. Hard to apply a LOT of pressure, but still works well. I got it especially for my plantar fasciitis, and being able to cool AND massage makes this product a win for me. I use ice packs usually, but they don’t target the specific areas. And I can’t massage while I have the ice pack on.

Product works, I like that it has a liquid inside that allows it to maintain temperature for a while, yet I haven’t tried it on hot water yet, I wish the product could come apart for cleaning and for use of hot therapy, I don’t trust the plastic tho the built is so well I can’t make it come apart.

Do you suffer from migraine or headache pain or deep muscle aches? Bummed out by melting bags of ice or adjusting ice packs that do not quite hit the spot? You've really got to try this frosty massage roller ball from Phyya Rehab. This ice cold massage roller is a fantastic replacement for packs and messy melting cubes. Place in the freezer for prolonged icy relief from pain. The stainless metal ball retains the ice cold temperature for long periods of time. Alternatively it can be cooled in the refrigerator for a less intense experience for more sensitive/fragile skinned people(like children, infants or the elderly). Use common sense here. Specs: 8 1/8 ounces (230.34 grams) Width approximately 3 inches Height approximately 2 3/4 Seller includes a drawstring bag, I do not use this in the freezer- Tips: Headache or migraine pain that hits behind your eyes- chill/freeze the ball and then place behind your head at the base of your skull where your occipital nerves are located (web search is helpful for those who need a map). Chilling/soothing those nerves at the source can be extremely helpful in reducing pain. Puffy eyes or face, gently roll boll around face to ease tension and swelling. Overworked muscles or spasm, a chilled roller ball can reach that twitching/clenching bunch of misery and calm with great efficiency. Phyya Rehab icy cold roller ball has been a great alternative to pain medications* in a some situations. It can reduce swelling and tenderness. * Please exercise caution and consult a physician BEFORE changing your current regimen! Overall this product has been included as a "go to" product in my fight against migraine pain. I recommend it without hesitation.
