  • Good socks but (and) would love some purple floral design socks.
Color: Black/Pink Flower Size: L/XL
I enjoy these compression socks. I've used them a few times and they work well for compression and are comfortable. On me they go up to my knees and just a tiny bit past. I have the ones with the pink flowers on the foot/ankle. They're attractive. They go on as easily as any compression socks, meaning that when you use them and are familiar with them they go very well and easily, but there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. For compression socks they are on the low end of cost, which makes me very happy. If I could tell @Physix Gear Sport Store anything, I would love some of these floral compression socks with purple flowers and purple toe, as I'm much more of a purple woman than a pink woman. I have the XL socks and they fit well on my 15-16 inch calves, and size 10ish shoe-feet. If they come out with purple and even red (no orange) I'd purchase more. ... show more

  • Best Compression Socks I Own
Color: Black/Pink Size: L/XL
As a nurse, I can tell a huge difference in how my legs and feet feel when wearing compression socks. I've been wearing them for 7 years many days or nights when I work. They reduce fatigue and also keep swelling down in my ankle that I've had a couple of surgeries on in the past. The swelling reduction is very important for me because my ankle hurts when it swells too much, and 12-14 hour shifts inevitably do that. Add my current pregnancy and the accompanying swelling, restless legs that come all the time, and fatigue from hell, and I figured it was time to upgrade a bit. So I came to Amazon. I've owned many pairs of compression socks over the years. I usually purchased them at scrub stores (some cheaper than these, some around the same price). I wear a size 10 shoe and usually get a large compression sock to fit my feet into. A problem I run into a lot is that compression socks compress under my knee too much or don't come up quite enough (that could be my fault. I get tired of yanking on them before I should). To be fair, I'm fat. My legs aren't huge, but I can pinch some fat by my knee if I try. So some tightness is okay. But I don't want to cut my circulation off. These are a bit priceier than some other options on Amazon that look similar. I ordered one pair due to the stellar reviews. I also ordered some that were less than half the price that also had great reviews. Out of the package, I could immediately tell these were higher quality than the others (I'd hope so at more than twice the price). The material is thick (not too thick) and soft. The pink and black colors were nice. Compared to the others, the material alone seemed to make up for some of the price difference. Applying them was made easier by the pattern on the foot (most of my others are either solid or the entire sock has a certain pattern). They stretched easily enough to make application a bit less unpleasant than usual. I didn't have to fight with them for them to sit at the correct place on my leg. Fast forward 14 hours - my legs felt similarly to any other compression sock. I did notice my ankle was less swollen than with other socks though, which is great. Taking them off is easy enough. They did leave a lovely pattern on my legs (a diamond pattern as opposed to most of my socks that leave horizontal lines). They didn't leave the usual level of indentation under my knee. Compared to the cheaper ones, these are fantastic. I plan to order more. I've washed these probably 20 times and have noticed no change in them from new. Oh and make sure to air dry your compression socks. The dryer is wayyy too hot (even on low) - and will destroy compression socks. Think of all that elastic! Give this brand a try. Your legs are so worth it. ... show more

  • Comfortable Compression Socks That Actually Compress
Color: Black/Pink Flower Size: L/XL
This is definitely a few steps ahead of previous compression socks I've bought. The fabric is substantial. It's still thin enough to use with all of my shoes and boots, but not so thin that I worry about putting my thumb through it while pulling them on. Putting them on does require using the inside-out toe-pocket method, but once the sock is on the foot and situated on the heel, pulling them up is not too difficult. Keep in mind I just tried them on right out of the box, so they have not had a chance to loosen up at all. Once on, they are incredibly comfortable. The compression is truly graduated -- I have no pain or discomfort at the knee, and I do not have any puffing out above the sock, which is amazing, especially since the compression is SO GOOD around the foot and ankle, where I really need it. These are strong, well-made socks, and they stay up without causing pain. Finally, they are beautiful. When I saw the pictures of the socks, I thought the design was probably painted on, which I wasn't in love with. The only reason I bought the florals rather than the diamond-heel style was that I could get them the next day, rather than the two-to-three weeks it would take for the diamond-heel. But I was pleasantly surprised. The design is knitted in, and it's spectacular. I'm looking forward to wearing them with ankle-length pants so the flowers peek out over my shoes. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants a compression sock that actually compresses, without squeezing too hard, especially at the knee. I'll be buying more. ... show more

  • A Little Too Long (for me)
Color: Black/Grey Size: L/XL
I hated to send these back. I wore them 1 day. The tightness at the calf was perfect and according to their size chart. The problem was they were too long. Should come 2” below the knee, and these came up to the bend of my knee, and when smoothed out, wrinkled at the ankle on the top of foot, and made deep grooves in the skin. I have worn compression socks on and off for 25 years. Most don’t fit well unless Rx grade (which is very costly) so I’m always looking for others. The fabric is soft and Great Quality. If you are looking for a great sock that is comfortable, durable, and stylish, (and they fit you well), then you will love these !!!!! ... show more

  • Life SAVERS
Color: Nude/Beige Size: L/XL
I've worn many a type of support hose and compression stocking.... from light to heavy duty surgical. These are in the light to medium (leaning towards light) category. I can get these on without putting a fingernail through them trying to get them ON. I can get these off without having to have someone else pull them off. They are breathable, some are like sausage skins. They wash well, I hand wash and hang to dry. I started to show varicrose veining in my teens (got it from both sides of the family). These are not for where I would be standing/working on my feet for a full day. However for evening lounging, sitting for a long trip, or sleeping, they are very very good. I can definitely tell the difference between wearing or not wearing these. I bought for shoe size but have wide feet and wear a bigger size because of that, and I have skinny legs, so. The size I bought are a little large and definitely long in the foot. HOWEVER. I always have had an issue with getting compression below the ball of my foot going toe-wards and that is an area that needs it just as much as the rest of my foot and by these having extra at the toes, the compression extends out and addresses that part of my foot as well. They fit superbly at my heel and stay put without sloshing around. Some colors are more expensive than others, I don't care so I got these at affordable prices. The heel has a diamond of a different stretch and color sewn in, it helps the stocking stay in place. Also on one side it has the word STAMINA, I put those to the outside edge of my foot so I always know which one was worn left and right. They pull up past my knees about four inches so give a good range of compression from toes to past the knees. They stay up well. If it is the middle of the night and I decide I'm too hot versus needing to wear them, they are easy to peel off. Very sturdy made, durable. I strongly recommend adding a few pairs of these to your wardrobe if you need compression. I am a reformed type II diabetic (rigid diet control helped roll the A1c back) and need to deal with circulation problems and fluid retention in my feet and calves. These are a definite improvement and I am glad to have run across them. As I have said, unless your doctor has mandated a particular compression strength, and you have light but persistent issues with 'fat feet', I highly recommend these for a sleeping or travel stocking. ... show more

  • Decent but Disappointing
Color: Black/Blue Size: L/XL
I have edema in my legs and have been searching for compression socks that actually work without driving me crazy. I've tried a lot of different brands and found some that I like well enough, but they've still had enough flaws that I've been searching for better options. I bought a pair of these after reading many different reviews and seeing how recommended they were. They're more expensive than other brands I've tried to this point, but I was willing to pay a bit more if the socks fit well. Sadly, like a lot of the cheaper options I've tried, these ones are just "OK" and I'm now resuming my search for the perfect compression socks for me. Pros: -Nice material. It feels durable and it wicks moisture. I wore these during a workout and my legs were not sweaty. -They stay up very well compared to others I've tried. A lot of my compression socks slip during the day and have to be constantly tugged up, and even then they still tend to bunch up around my ankles, which creates an annoying/uncomfortable pinching feeling by the evening. -The compression level is good and snug. My legs felt like they were getting hugged all day, and they definitely reduced swelling. Cons: -Getting them on was a real challenge. I've had plenty of practice putting on compression socks and these were easily the most difficult. The top band barely stretches, so getting it over my calf and shin bordered on painful. -The toe seam isn't great, and I expected much better than these pronounced seams for the price. While the sock stays up, the toe seams still moved around inside my shoes. Very annoying. -I ordered my usual size and the foot part of the sock is still a little too big for me (and I wear a size 9-9 1/2 women's, so my feet are not small). Which is probably why the toe seam won't stay in place. -They strangely aren't very warm. I can usually walk around in my stocking feet in my house and feel fine, but my feet were cold wearing just these. -By the end of the day, they felt pretty tight at the top and it was a relief to get them off (which was only slightly easier than getting them on). Overall not the worst compression socks I've tried, but I won't be buying another pair either. ... show more

  • Strength and comfort
Color: White Size: L/XL
Good, snug fit. Materials seem sturdy. I have it in white and black. I purchased the type because of a doctor’s advice. I purchased this brand because of customer feedback. Used about 6 months (no wear noticed).

  • Help prevent toes and ball of foot swelling!!!!
Color: Black/Blue Flower Size: L/XL
These work great. I have foot drop so the toes and balls of that foot swell due to the muscle that raises the foot issues not working. These socks slow down that swelling so that I can be up on my feet a lot more during the day. So much better than the others I have tried.
