  • Great for road trips and embarrassing your teenagers! Great for road trips and embarrassing your teenagers!
Size: Small-Medium Color: A-collocation06
Being a woman of a certain age, and knowing I had a lot of road tripping coming up, I ordered myself these compression socks a while back. I haven’t had problems with my legs that I’ve noticed, but I figured an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, right? I highly recommend that everyone start wearing these whenever possible starting at the age of, like, 16. They are like a hug for your legs. They just make life feel so cozy even if it isn’t. And? Being a woman of a certain age, I’m finding that my legs feel less tired when I wear them. I didn’t even realize my legs were feeling a little tired until I started wearing them and noticing that my legs feel less tired. So, I’m wearing them even when I’m not on a road trip is what I’m saying (I up the wow factor of the compression socks by wearing them with Tevas when we are driving for hours on end). My two teenage sons and I recently went on a business trip with my husband, but he had to stay one place and we had to stay in another. (I promise the socks are important to the story if you just hang in). The husband spent the first part of the first day with us before he had to go to his shindig. Leading up to the time when we had to leave to take him to the business part of this trip, he was out on the balcony, on the phone, dealing with a work issue. When he came back in, I said, “Well, you just wasted your last bit of making out time for the week.” One of my sons DIED. But not literally. Just, you know, the way a teenage boy dies when his parents say such things. “Oh, in that case,” the husband said as he put his arm around me, “Never mind boys. We aren’t leaving yet.” That son DIED some more. There was sputtering and stammering and wide eyes and exclamations of shock mingled with disgust and horror. The husband and I laughed and laughed and laughed some more at his reaction, but it really was time to go. “Let me take my compression socks off . . .” I started, and then the kid almost literally DIED. “What?!?!?!?!? NO!!!! Just no!!! Don’t!!! I can’t believe you two!!!!” he exclaimed as, I recall, he started to head out the door. Never did I anticipate that my kid would interpret my desire to undertake the unholy feat of awkwardness that is peeling off compression socks as some kind of overture for inappropriately timed “romance,” but there we were. “You didn’t let me finish,” I called after him. “Let me take my socks off so I can put my shoes on so we can go.” Because compression socks coupled with Tevas are only for long car rides and accompanying forays into gas station quickie marts. With that explanation, the kid swallowed back his panic (and probably a little vomit). Speaking of forays into gas station quickie marts, as we were walking across a gas station parking lot during a different leg of this road trip, toward the little store and its accompanying facilities, the same kid was all, “Your socks, mom!” “I wear them just to embarrass you,” I said. “It’s working,” he replied. “Come here,” I said as I tried to put my arm around him, “so that everyone can see you’re my son!” “Nooo!” he exclaimed as he ducked and ran just out of my reach. At this point we were walking in the door, so I made sure to point at my son and very uncharacteristically announce to no one and everyone as we did so, “He’s with me!!!” If you are of a certain age, get these socks, especially if you have Tevas and teenagers. ... show more

  • Great for nurses/students!
So comfortable! I have small feet, but large calves so finding compression socks that fit both is a struggle. These fit well on my feet and do fit the calves although the fabric stretches more. They hug my calves but don't feel too tight. They move with me but didn't roll down as I was walking/running. The designs are cute and you get 6 pairs for the price. I don't see how they are copper- they seem just regular compression. ... show more

  • NOTHING like the images shown in listing NOTHING like the images shown in listing
Size: Small-Medium Color: A-collocation05
I was so excited for these. I bought 2 packs because they look beautiful in the description. However, they look like pixelated, watered down, toddler artwork. Actually, toddlers could improve these illustrations. Do NOT buy the floral ones hoping for vibrant images, as shown when you preview them. You won’t get that. The light pink ones were actually why I bought these, because the design looks really awesome, but it looks rough in real life. It’s like I ordered these with beer goggles on, and the morning after was a total let down. Also, as other reviewers have said, these same patterns are sold by multiple sellers but of the same pixelated images (I bought Bluemaple and CharmKing brands), so don’t be fooled into buying them elsewhere thinking they’ll be prettier. The fit is okay for me, but some of the patterns have issues with a smooth texture when on. The threads do not give easily in some areas as they’re stretched over the swell of the calf muscle, so they pull up with some added difficulty and are unevenly providing compression, which is annoying. It gives them a lumpy look. They’re okay, overall, but I wouldn’t recommend any of the flora/fauna prints, because they ARE going to disappoint you. Hopefully, they’ll work for what I need (I work in a steel mill and wear compression socks daily because of cement floors), though, as the overall fit feels okay for me in the S/M. ... show more

  • I should have bought these sooner
Size: Large-X-Large Color: A-collocation06
I’m a little angry I didn’t know about these sooner- I thought I couldn’t stand for more than five minutes without getting exhausted because I was out of shape. Turns out it’s because I have POTS and my heart rate doubles when I stand up and blood pools in my legs. They are comfortable, stay up extremely well, and because they have graduated compression they aren’t cutting off circulation at my knee. They aren’t tight on my toes either (size 8 women’s shoe). The prints in the black pack are cute, and work well enough with skirts and slacks to get through vocal performances without looking like I’m wearing medical gear. They are great under leggings and jeans too. I’m not sure how long these will last, it seems like strings want to snag on things, but at this price it’s worth it to buy a pack or two and see if they help. And, they’re cheap enough to just replace them when they wear out. ... show more
