First of all, it's hard to really picture how large this light box is in person. Even having the measurements and sizing it out with a ruler I was surprised how large it was after setting it up. This makes it incredibly helpful for all sorts of product photography. Setting it up wasn't too tricky. It comes with a bag to pack it all up and make it portable, but it does take a little time to set up. Instructions were simple. My wife and I did it together and that made it much faster if you have a second person handy. Once again it's large, so struggling to figure out the best place to keep it. Right now it's on the floor but I would like it on a desk so I don't have to be d down constantly, but it would need to be a deep desk to support the depth of the light box. Just something to keep in mind. The lighting works remarkably well! So far I have shot random things I am selling online like backpacks and large boxed items, my wife has posted Etsy craft items she sells, and I have even started to shoot broll for my YouTube channel! In all those cases the lighting in consistent and doesn't cast any shadows. This product will instantly make your product shots look professional. And it's great it works for those large items like backpacks or laid out clothing that wouldn't work in smaller light boxes. The material for the lightbox feels sturdy but not incredibly so. I guess that's the price you're paying for an affordable product. I'm not worried about it breaking or anything, just can tell it's on the cheaper side. The backgrounds feel like great quality though. They don't wrinkle and make a nice soft background. The colors that are included are nice. One thing I noticed from other reviewers is they had to add some tape to help keep the background up. Mine didn't need that, but I could see overtime if the pocket wore out a little bit that I would need to, and I don't think that's a big deal at all. Also I like the feature of the hole for overhead shots, and the diffuser sheet for extra soft light (though it is quite soft without it, it may help reduce reflections in reflective material). All in all great product and I'm happy to finally have a consistent light source for all our family's side gigs 😆

This is a ONE STOP SHOP for product photography and video. I've built up quite the home studio over the past few years, owning cameras like the Canon R6 and 1D X Mark II, and lights like the Aputure 300X. I'm very pleased to say this thing gets bright enough for me to use 120fps slow mo at 1/250 shutter speed at 640 ISO and f/6.3. You may notice that even with slight creases in the background--visible in the phone shots--they are not visible at all in the final shots of the products, even at high aperture values. I'm even looking forward to sitting inside this box myself and trying some self-portraits! There is a nice hole in the top for top-down photo options, and I'm really enjoying the 1m x 1m x 1m size. In the instructions it says to put the assembled aluminum frame on top of the backdrop, but then you can see the crossbar, so I simply didn't follow the directions there and it looked better. The backdrop PVCs also fit better that way. Some reviews are saying the lights don't get bright enough, but that just reveals they're amateurs. The samples here are using only the included LED bars. If you're using your phone, it's important to turn off the default HDR mode. That contrast is important to separate your subject from the backdrop. You can mount the lights on any of the rails, and I've found that using 1 light panel in the back casting a rim light, and 1 light panel in the front as a key light, produces amazing results as you can see in the sample product shots. This is an incredible addition to my studio at an excellent price point for the quality it offers. I'm so happy with the light quality, the dimmability, the 4 backdrop colors, the fairly straight forward setup, and the ease of getting spectacular final images. If you want clean product images and don't have room or the budget for a top rail system and expensive overhead lights and backdrops, this is a slam dunk purchase.

This product initially exceeded our expectations. After a pretty easy assembly, we immediately got to using this lightbox. The case is very compact and light, and the backgrounds are bright and sturdy. The tradeoff for the flexible and compact frame is that the walls, lights and the soft light cloth are a little fiddly to set up, but once the box is setup somewhere it is easy to adjust. The lights are VERY bright! Be aware that the LEDs are not covered by glass or plastic, so you must be careful with them. We did have a slight brightness issue after a few weeks that the manufacturer resolved for us without delay. More about that below. We take pictures of small animals, so brightness is extremely important because animals move around - a lot! Very bright lights are the only way to get good pictures of moving subjects. We know that all LEDs lose a bit of brightness over time, but our first lamps lost a significant amount of brightness in a short amount of time. Initially, the brightness was just right to capture some wonderful moments in crisp focus - But after about 5 photo shoots in 3-4 weeks, the lamps had already lost enough of their maximum brightness that our photos were coming out blurry. One email to the manufacturer, and they were prepared to replace our lights. We received the new lights and we are back in business! I'd like to point out that the original lights are still more than adequate for still photography, but our special use (animal photography) made the premature dimming of the lamps an issue. For still product photography, which is the intended use, I believe this product ticks all the right boxes and we would never notice the brightness loss. The convenience, flexible photography angles, helpful manufacturer support, and good value combine to make an excellent buy.
