I bought this for my granddaughter who has grown and interest in tattooing. The printer prints up to 8x11.5 stencils with extreme accuracy and even the finest of details come out clear and sharp. The printer also comes with software that allows you to modify and size of the stencil, and allows you to place multiple stencils within the same page print. The batteries life isn't perfect and I would recommend connecting a USB charger brick to the unit to keep the printer up and running so that you don't get stuck in the middle of a multi print job. In addition to the printer, I also bought plenty of paper, ink needle packs of various sizes and fake skin to practice on. She was delighted! She is now doing tattoos for people using the stencils, and they come out stunning. Much much better than freehand. I absolutely love this Phomemo Thermal Printer! Works with bluetooth also has a disk drive as an option to use on a computer. Comes with a usb- c cable as well a a storage pouch instructions and the box and 5 thermal printer sheets. It prints great I printed a 2023 calendar and a random picture I had in my phone. It's small lightweight only around 2.2 lbs and rechargeable. It didn't take long to charge and it was simple fast and easy to set up. It does come with instructions if you need them. It's also great for printing tattoo stencils and you never need to replace the ink so that's amazing. Can print 130 pages before needing to recharge the battery. It's not very loud which I enjoyed. Also love the Phomemo app which has templates for calendars and all kids of clip arts or you can do you own drawings,pictures, paperwork, homework, invoices, websites, recipes ect Does not work with regular paper since its thermal but Phomemo thermal paper is priced very affordable. It was packaged very good I Don't have any actual negative impressions I love all my Phonemo products can't wait to see what they come out with next ... show more

The first few attempts at using this printer were a complete failure unfortunately. I tried a few things in the settings, but nothing seemed to help. It took an embarrassing amount of time to realize that Spirit brand transfer paper is too wide to fit properly and had to be cut to fit correctly. On top of that, Spirit's current paper is nothing like what I'm conditioned to expect from them. At first I thought it was the printer. Then tried Yilong cheap paper, which also had to be cut by a quarter of an inch to fit. It worked unbelievably well in comparison. If the size was 8.25 inch width like standard paper and thermal paper, I would leave 5 stars. The annoyance of cutting each sheet to fit, quickly leads to recommend another competing product. Edit: I have found Electrum Gold Standard papers that fit perfectly and print with insane amounts of detail. Which is convenient, as the transfer itself is amazing with this brand and they are quickly replacing Spirit as the best thermal transfer papers. ... show more

Works like it should. Im using cheap transfer paper and as long as you cut the back sheet off with a razor blade it feeds just fine. Only complaint is.with the paid part of the app. In my opinion it should be included with the purchase or at least a 6 month free trial to try to dial everything in. It works ONLY with a Chrome extension and then only for labels. You cannot print a full sheet from a chromebook. Perhaps from your android or iphone cell phone you can. Unfortunately for me, I did not realize this when I bought it. Shame on me, but it's basically a paperweight for me. For others who are just printing tattoo labels, it might be just the thing.
