I just started learning how to tattoo. I tried the transfer papers and fake skins that came in my tattoo kit then I purchased these. The skins are thin but pretty durable. The ink does stain a little bit but I just used a clorox wipe to take it off, worked great. I wouldn't consider the skins to be double sided, they are not thick enough. As far as the transfer paper...these are a much better quality and have a darker pigment than the ones I had previously. I've even used some of the pages multiple times. Will definitely be purchasing again!

The fake skin sheets are thick enough to handle shading and lining without tearing or slipping. For the price, the quality is very good and better than some thinner options I’ve tried before. So far, this has been the best practice skin I’ve used. It’s a good choice if you want something durable to work on your technique.

I hate these skins. They're hard to clean, they're too thin, and they are more like a rubber. My needles don't like them, they're a weird color, and they don't stretch right. If you wipe too hard on them you can see a mesh texture through the top layer. The stencil papers they come with are just as bad. They got snagged up in my stencil printer and jammed every single time I've tried to use them. They're fine for hand stenciling only. Don't get skins from Amazon, go to a supply shop like Kingpin or Painful Pleasures. You'll pay more, but you get what you pay for.

I didn't like it at all, the skin breaks very easily with the needle and the tattoo stencil permeated to the skin which can't be erased with anything, not even Vaseline or alcohol.
