  • Durable and washable
These are very easy to clean and happen to be the only ones my kids would even use. Just make sure you get the correct size for the baby's age.

  • I wish I could buy these in bulk!
These pacifiers are the same ones they provided to us at the hospital when my son was born. I grabbed as many as I could while we were in the hospital because I knew they would be lost quickly under couches, in the car, etc. but I couldn’t get enough so I’ve had to purchase them on amazon a few times. These are the “soothies” model. Our son will not take another type of pacifier because he is used to these. They are the closest to the look and feel of what a nursing mother has. I love that there is the hole in the middle to put your finger in and feel the baby suckling. It’s just such a cool feeling. It also helps my son calm down and feel that I’m there. My son is now 3 months old and still uses them regularly to soothe himself to sleep. I have also read that having a baby fall asleep with a pacifier can help reduce the risk of SIDS, so I like that benefit too. My only complaint about this style is that they kind of take up his whole face. So in pictures you mostly just see the pacifier. It’s advised to not use pacifiers until 6 weeks when breastfeeding has been established but these did not cause our son nipple confusion. (Every baby is different, I did not allow my now 8 year old to use a pacifier and now I’m wondering why because it really does help them learn to self soothe) Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. I count on others to help me choose the best option. My reviews are always my honest opinion and I try to include photos if possible. • Wrong color came in
These are the only pacis my son will currently take. They’re good pacis, so I will leave as 5 stars. However, they’re advertised as the green ones, & we received pink & purple. I still use them as we needed the extra ones when I ordered.

  • Love the soothie!
With my first child she never took a binkie. This time around with my son I came prepared to the hospital with 4 different types in tow, one of which was the soothie. I had heard from other mothers this was their choice too, but I was not sure what he would take. I breastfed my son with a nipple sheild and one night at the hospital i happened to look at the nipple sheild and the soothie and by golly they are the same shape. I am sure they taste different and feel different, but the overall shapes were the same. I had tried one of the Nuk and Tommee Tippee with my son both with the flat nipple and he would not take them. After 2 attempts with the soothie it won him over. Now after he drinks a botttle we plop that in and he is happy as can be. I like the soothies for several reasons: * Easy to clean * Easy to find (this is huge if you cannot locate them during the night, most of the grocery stores carry them!) * Easy to store in a binkie holder * Easy to attach to a booginhead binky holder * Matches the Wubbanub binkie (love the wubbanub and its the same soothie!) My only dislike is that I cannot find them for over 3 months any longer. I have yet to go to the website to see if they just discontinued them, but all of the binkies are listed as 0-3 months only. Well I pretty sure my son is not going to give it up when he turns 4 months so not sure if I have to change or what. Overall: love it! ... show more

  • My picky baby is ok with them!
My kids have never taken pacifiers- like ever. My babies are all breast fed and very high maintenance until around the age of 3, where they want to be held 24/7. Being a stay at home mother, I am able to accommodate them between holding them in my arms or wearing them in a carrier until my hubby gets home where he happily takes over and I am able to get a nap or chores done. Well, by the time I got to baby #3, I figured the time has finally come to use a pacifier as my toddler, #2, is less willing to help with baby than his older sibling. In the past with my other 2 kids, I have tried every. single. pacifier. I could get my hands on (eventually giving up), so I had plenty in my reserved. Again with child #3, I tried them all once again, and these AVENT pacifiers are the ONLY one baby has kept in his mouth for more than 3 suckles. I believe it has something to do with being able to put my finger in the bottom of the pacifier and he thinks he is sucking on my finger for a few moments, until I remove my hand. Of course I use these sparingly and rarely, but it brings a little sanity to my life long enough to take care of my toddlers needs or do more in depth chores. ... show more

  • Just as advertised
Great for newborns, we find the texture and shape of these to be as close to the “real thing” available on the market.

  • Buy EXTRAS!
These are the pacifiers that my hospital gave us for our daughter. As a new mom I was TOO careless with them. They were lost within two weeks and I quickly learned that my recklessness was going to come at a cost. These are the ONLY soothies that my daughter would use. We tried others and she would just spit them right back out. I made it a point to purchase a pack of these immediately in store and then order these ones as a back up. It's that critical to have spares. Do not mess around. I found that these soothies work great whether your are breast or bottle feeding. We did both and I found that it helped her transition between nipples well. No latch confusion. It also helps to be able to insert your finger into the hole if your baby is teething so they can alternate between sucking on the soothie and clamping down for their gums. Also, these things are SO easy to sterilize. And I've never had an issue with them ripping. If only I could get my second to use them! ... show more
