  • Bright enough, but don't last long enough
Style: Standard: OEM quality
It's a decent incandescent and for a reasonable price. I hate shopping for bulbs because the color temp and brightness seem to be so arbitrary, and no one holds the manufacturers accountable to their claims, so it's basically a crapshoot. But these are right in line with other "standard" bulbs I've purchased. I can't give more stars because they don't last long enough. It would cost almost nothing to make them last 10+ years (like add a few MICROmeters to the thickness of the filament), but they just don't do it because they want you to keep coming back. This produces waste, waste, and more waste. Waste in the landfill, waste of my time to replace, and waste of energy to transport all this trash around. If you track bulb lifespans over time you'll notice that back in the 80s and 90s they had 1,000 to 2,000 hour bulbs, and now the "standard" is 500 or less. Buncha cheapos. I have better things to do with my life than wrestle with burned out bulbs in a dirty old engine compartment. I would gladly pay 5 or 10 times as much for the bulb if they could guarantee a 10 year useful life (5,000 to 10,000 hours). Just a teeny tiny bit of extra filament would keep a huge amount of glass and plastic out of landfills. But they won't do that, because no one listens to me, because I'm just a donkey. ... show more

  • Perfect For 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
Style: Standard: OEM quality
After 14 years, the driver side low beam finally went out, so I replaced the headlight bulbs on both sides at same time. Great price from Amazon compared to local auto parts store. For those with Dodge trucks, the passenger side bulb can be replaced easily by simply removing the retaining ring on the back of the head light assembly, pulling the old bulb and wiring harness free, then replace the bulb. You can access the assembly from the engine compartment without having to remove anything else. To change the driver side bulb, there is a great You-tube video you can find by googling "2002 - 2008 Dodge Ram Headlight replacement. Better more simple way". Rather than removing the entire headlight assembly, like many suggest, you can simply move the fuse box out of the way. I was able to change both headlight bulbs in less than 10 mins. ... show more

  • Affordable Bulb
Style: Standard: OEM quality
Car maintenance can be pricey, especially if your income goes down and your car gets older. As luck would have it (or not) – both of those things apply to me. As I can do some things for my car to save money, there are other things I cannot do. Replacing the headlight bulb is one of them. Despite my car being 11, almost 12, years old; the dealership where I take it is friendly and professional and works with me when it comes to maintenance. The last service adviser had me in stitches! But, they can’t control labor and part costs. This bulb and the labor would normally run me $65 to replace. Not feasible. Even the labor was too pricey. I still had this pack from when I had planned to replace the bulb last year; but, as (bad) luck would have it, I couldn’t afford to replace it. Enter my friendly (and funny) service adviser. I got this installed for $0 cost on the last oil change. And, I am VERY appreciative he worked that out for me. Since I had left it at home and had to come back, he joked it would take 48 minutes to install. That was a nod to my favorite NASCAR driver - #48 Jimmie Johnson. He liked another (retired) driver, who I incidentally met once, and liked as well. Anyway … As it turned out – the installation took around 30-45 minutes. I was out the door and on the way. Since I’m not an expert at installation, I can’t rate it personally, but the time I spent waiting wasn’t too long, so I’m happy with it. No negative comments about the bulb (and no recommendations for a better part) and no complaints about the install. I’m sure this is a fairly easy install for those well equipped to do it outside a dealership. The bulbs last a good long time, though my right sides go out more than the left (pretty sure it is a bad wire). This is the second replacement since I’ve had the car (got it new in 2008). The left side is still OEM. Three total bulbs in 11-12 years? I’m not going to be too upset. I’m fairly happy with these, and I still have a spare. ... show more

  • Good
Style: Standard: OEM quality
Good, reliable replacement headlight bulbs. In most cases equivalent to OE bulbs; DOT stamped. Will not interfere with vehicle CANBUS or other electrical systems. Wear new disposable gloves when handling bulbs. Clean the bulbs glass surface with alcohol and a clean, lint free cloth or paper towel before installation. Lens cloth (for glasses) works well. Do not touch the bulb glass surface to your skin or any part if the car or elsewhere that could contaminate it. This cannot be stressed enough. Contaminants (even if you can’t see it) on the bulb glass will lead to premature failure of the bulb. Don’t clean with your shirt or wipe them on your pant leg. Don’t use household glass cleaner. ... show more

  • Saved money doing it ourselves!
Style: Standard: OEM quality
Worked perfect in my 2013 Nissan Juke. I figured we could this on our own when the dealer said no appointment needed. Just come in and we will do it while you wait. I figure we saved upwards of $75 in cost doing it ourselves. Lights are good, not the high end cornea burning bright you sometimes run into while driving at night. ... show more

Good product. Fit was perfect. Bonus: brighter than my factory bulbs, which is great! Used “Your Garage” in my Amazon account to find the correct part for my vehicle, which made shopping so simple!
